Hot in post-game about strike zone
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Good. I didn't see today's game, but some of the guys (Reddick and Marwin, in particular) have been getting majorly screwed in the last few weeks. The strike zone inconsistency needs to be called out.

As he should've been. If I were the manager, I'dve gotten a 5 game suspension for following the HP ump back to their locker room telling him exactly where he can stick his strike zone.

That shit was beer league blowout bad.

I was angry but I also wonder if this is his way of trying to rally the troops?

No. He was defending them, of course, but he was fed up with more than one game and genuinely angry at the umpiring. It was not a ploy.

Bad calls happen. It's part of the game. But that was malicious, and with intent. He was ready to get the game over with, and it showed last night.

It's pretty understandable to be fed up when there have been multiple punchouts in the last week on just atrocious calls. The umpires have to be held accountable by someone, since the umpire union's only job is to defend fat pieces of shit like Joe West who should've retired 5 years ago.

It's games like yesterday's that will lead to computers calling ball and strikes.

This. No accountability whatsoever.
