Mexico vs USA
« on: June 11, 2017, 05:37:19 pm »
Can anyone tell me what English language channel is broadcasting the match tonight?
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

FS1, I think.
I remember all the good times me 'n Miller enjoyed
Up and down the M1 in some luminous yo-yo toy
But the future has to change - and to change I've got to destroy
Oh look out Lennon here I come - land ahoy-hoy-hoy

Does the American team have a chance?

Does the American team have a chance?

They do now. Especially if the referee will do his job.

They'll need to refuel the medical cart at halftime.

If my guys win Tuesday we'll look really good for at least fourth, which would result in a home and away against the fifth place finisher in the Asian confederation's qualifying tournament. It's a charming field, currently consisting of possible opponents such as Syria, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and Iran. Sadly, Iraq has already been eliminated from contention.

The US defense is like watching a pitcher consistently work his way out of bases loaded jams.

So the US won!!!  We're awesome!!
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

And North Korea has already won the tournament, with the Supreme Leader playing solo against all opponents, scoring 157 goals in the process.

That rascal's tough to beat, let's face it.

Apparently North Korean television will often tell its viewers that their national team was victorious against whoever their rival of the day may have been. I suppose they end up voluntarily dropping out of every tournament once they discover its distasteful lack of Juche principles.
