Dolphins @ Texans

Well, that didn't look like a very good pass from Schaub. Maybe Hopkins tripped, but it still looked like it was behind him.

On the other hand, that drive looked a lot better.

Of the 4 QBs the Texans ran out Saturday, Shaub looked the least composed and had the weakest arm.  I am hoping that Keenum steps up and pressures Shaub to play hard.  Yates looked pretty comfortable too.  Special teams still seem to think that game day = flag day.  Hope they get that shit straightened out sooner rather than later.

Shaub was lightly booed after throwing the pick.  It was a horrible, horrible throw.  Fans remember how Shaub quit on the team down the stretch last year.  I distinctly remember one game at Reliant, seeing him sitting alone on the bench when the entire balance of the Texans organisation was jammed along the sidelines cheering on the defense who were trying to make yet another stand after an offensive clusterfuck.

Was great to see Cushing back.

The new, giant screens at each end are awesome.  Oh, and bigger than the ones in Dallas, apparently.

I love Keenum, and want to see him do well, but I can't see how he makes this team.

I didnt' see the replay, but in real time, it looked like Hopkins fell down, causing the pick.

The screen is nice, but it's basically a giant HD advertising billboard.  If you don't like the Community Leaders board at MMPUS, you'd absolutely HATE the new screen at Reliant.

I didn't notice the slip, I'll have to dig up the clip to see it again.

Lots of info on the big screens about the game in progress and other games around the league.  I haven't seen the CL board at MMPUS, but the screens at Reliant are only blocking the view of the back wall of the stadium.

One of the primary reasons I gave up my season tickets is because over the years the team continually reduced the signage with actual football information and put up advertising instead. It indicated to me that football is distantly secondary on game day as far as the team is concerned when considering a fan's experience.

I haven't given up on my Stanford season tix (didn't make it out last year, but hopefully will this year).

Antonio Smith suspended for the rest of the preseason and Game 1 for ripping off a players helmet and swinging it said players head.

How much longer are the Texans gonna put up with Smith's antics?

That was comfortably out of the top five reasons and possibly not even in the top ten. Plus, I could always have simply sold the tickets had I been unable or unwilling to attend.

In other cases I'd agree, but Richie Incognito is the dirtiest player in the league.  It's like AJ fighting Finnegan.

I get your point, but the corollary is "but it's Antonio Smith, who has a long history of dumb personal fouls that cost the team."  I have a hard time apologizing for Smith's antics.
