Is this game on fox?

Last night I learned that the angels actually have fans in Houston.  Who knew?  Contemplating going back today if the game is only on csn.

35 miles out, stuck in a goddamn traffic jam that stretches for miles. So now I might miss the book signing, which is the only reason I bought the fucking expensive ticket and gave away a work shift. If my car breaks, maybe I can go for being down $1K today. Or maybe I'll just have a stroke. Or all the above.
I'm in love with rock and roll and I'll be out all night.

Mike Trout doesn't remind me much of anybody. He's kind of setting his own standard. Hell, he's 6'2", 230 lbs. That's an inch taller and 10 pounds heavier than Bo Jackson. Three inches taller, 25 pounds heavier than Mantle.

Aybar hits a single to Rf scoring two, and then makes the second out trying to advance to second.
Trout flies out to CF, to make the third out.

Going in to the bottom of the fourth, the Angels lead the Astros 4-0

I think Sparks is great at color, but he's a terrible PBP man. I wish he and Ford didn't trade off.

I've gotten used to him and don't think that he's too bad for as little experience as he has. His problem is that Ford is so good that Sparks doesn't sound that good in comparison.

The departure of George Postolos and the arrival of Reid Ryan has allowed for a 'culture change' across the board.  Its a good group the Astros have in place across the board these days.  I'm glad they hooked you up (and, under the current group, am wholly un-surprised that you were).

I don't mind Sparks, yes he is rough and raw, he is still finding his voice. If he was broadcasting solo for nine innings, I still prefer him over DoRay.

+1 I never suffered through DoRay. I refused to do that. Sparks only calls two innings, and he sticks to the facts of the game.

It's a numbers game.

It obviously didn't read the superscript squared numbers correctly.

Sparks is great as an analyst, but he is Milo-esque in describing the action.  Why the fuck they have him do that (without help for an inning or two) is beyond me.

Is that the normal setup for radio crews: to alternate or let one guy rest for a few innings?

I was thinking it was really gutsy of Lyles to pitch 22 innings, despite giving up 22 runs. Sometimes you have to man up and take one for the team.

I knew that when I read back one of mine and realized I had spelled Paul Clemens last name as Clemons about half a dozen times. Curiously, no one called me out on it.

I'm glad you guys and gals take the time to do at all.

I will make very light changes from time to time, like removing a comma or fixing an apostrophe, but you guys are clever enough that I figure the words you write are the ones you want published and I honor that trust.

I for one would appreciate a good read. The HTML coding got me today. Damnit.
