For fans of St. Arnolds Lawnmower, I picked up a sixer of Weedeater the Saturday. Same flavor, but a little stronger/fuller.
I saw it at the HEB over the weekend. Isn't it a wheat?
Yes. And oops. It is Weedwacker. http://www.saintarnold.com/beers/weedwacker.html
Has anyone had the new Houston brewer (Karbach?)?I'm hitting up the Galveston beer fest this weekend. Looking forward to it
I love Geoff Leach. Every day.
Let me know if you want to have a beer.
Why else would anyone be there?
I will be at the beer fest Saturday as well. Let me know if you want to have a beer.
You must really enjoy cool glasses of dirt.
I want to have a beer.Or did you mean specifically this Saturday at Beer Fest?
Ha. I'm not a fan either, but glad you're able to enjoy something you like, das.
Indeed, it's so very subjective. I'm open-minded enough to understand that my strong like for Fat Tire may be colored by its association with good times when I had easy access to it.That said, I'll be over in Bavaria in mid-November and am just smart enought to know that the sludge from the bottom of the Oktoberfest barrels will be better than anything the New Belgium Brewing Co. is likely to produce...
Is Karbach available in stores yet? I've sampled it at Pappas steakhouse and Queen Vic but have yet to see it on the shelf.
Sitting in my room in Germany enjoying an Einbecker Ur-Bock in honor of Martin Luther on Reformation Day.Prosit!
Drink 95 of them for the full Luther effect.
Sitting in my room in Turkey enjoying an Efes. It's not very good - but the best you get in Turkey and the military has a habit of buying beer that's about two weeks from it's "drink me by" date. Wish I was in Texas.Saloo.
