Two good things

The season’s more than half over.
The trade deadline has almost come and gone

Two things that would immediately make this season better

An Alyson Footer bobblehead giveaway
Seeing good pitching on a fishing trip to Corpus

Ten things to ponder

Henry Sosa, 26, RHP, AA Corpus
Jason Stoffel, 22, RHP, AA Corpus
Jordan Shafer, 24, CF, .223 lifetime
Brett Oberholtzer, 23, LHP, AA Mississippi
Juan Abreu, 26, RHP, AAA Gwinett
Paul Clemens, RHP, 23, AA Mississippi
Jarred Cosart, 21, RHP, A+ Clearwater (AA Corpus)
Jonathan Singleton, 19, LHP, A+ Clearwater
Josh Zeid, 24, RHP, AA Reading
PTBL

Three things I think I knew, but now think are certain

W/o power or pitching, hitting for average doesn’t mean much

Except for the pitcher and catcher, the excellent defensive play of any single defensive player has less market value than the comparable (or maybe worse) offensive play of any single offensive player

I’d probably watch a car wreck.

Those can be seen LIVE!, usually around 7:05pm CST on Fox Sports Southwest.
Don't think twice, it's alright.
