So, my source says the Yanks need a starting pitcher who can be effective against all the lefty's the Red Sox employ.  No word on whether they're looking at Wandy.

Wandy does have great splits vs. lefties...it will just need to be seen if the Yanks can get over their reported fear that Wandy's stuff won't play in the AL (which btw is complete horseshit).

Crawford and Gonzales have done quite a bit of damage in limited ABs: Crawford 4/6 with a 2B and a 3B, Gonzales 3/12 with a 2B and a HR (and 4 K). Of course, Gonzales does quite a bit of damage against everybody.

I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.
