So much for credibility.

From what I've seen in the past, Piliere is good about justifying and supporting his thoughts/rankings on MiLBers. I think I'd chalk this one up to shitty proofreading/editing...
In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

Not really relevant to his evaluation skills, but I think he was also the first to connect the Astros to Kvasnicka before the draft.

Richard Justice, whose job is to cover the Houston Astros, reported like 2 months ago that Jordan Lyles was a LHP.  I mean, I don't care if my roommate, coworker, or drinking buddy thinks Lyles is a LHP.  I wouldn't even correct them.  But Richard Justice is in charge of covering Houston sports and he can't even get the Astros top prospect's pitching arm correct.  And he did it in 2 different articles or blogs or whatever that crap is he puts out.

Keith Law also had his top 10 prospects for each organization and said JD Martinez was a RHP.  I give him a pass because he's trying to cover the entire league.

In summary, I understand why sports journalism pays shit.

wasn't Frank Piliere the 14th President of the United States?
Reading Richard Justice and respect level for Richard Justice are inversely related

No, I think it was his brother, Millard.  Frank died from the piles after consuming a splendid plate of ox liver and an entire pole cat.
