I've seen confusion in a few places about Myers' 2011 option. It's a
mutual option for $8mil, with a $2mil buyout. My guess would be that there's almost no chance Myers exercises that option- he can leverage this season into a better, multi-year deal- am I right? So, we can operate under the assumption that it does not make sense for the Astros to keep him if they get a great trade offer, right? Because otherwise he'll leave, and like Jacksonian said, they'll get at best a sandwich pick in the draft, and maybe not even that.
