Watching Mets-Cards on ESPN.  Sutcliffe keeps talking about how the Mets need pitching...then he says they need that big acquisition, like Carlos Beltran was for the Astros in '05!

Strike one, Rick. But hey, it's easy to get your years confused, especially when you're drunk in the booth half of the time, right?  A few innings later he says "They're hoping Beltran can hit like he did in '05 when he carried the Astros to the World Series!"

Did you just hear the ESPN guy say, "let's now take you back to Shitty Field" after the A-Rod HR watch interruption?  I rewound on DVR--no doubt about it.  Fantastic, but he must have forgot the Mets no longer play at Shea.

I've been watching this on and off, first for an hour at the gym, then here at home.  There have been some stupid plays on each side.  Why do Duncan's pants always looks like he just took a dump in them?
