Fantasy Baseball
« on: March 22, 2010, 12:37:08 pm »
Yesterday was my auction in a keeper league that I've been in for about 7 years.  We had a new owner this season.  His name is Jed Latkin who apparently is the star in a new movie called Fantasyland, based on the book of the same name.  Hopefully, I will be kicking his ass this year.  I have a couple of Astros on my team -- Berkman, Towles, Castro, and Norris.
Boom!

Four is a "couple?" That must be lawyer-speak. I'd hate to see what a couple of billable hours would cost!

...Fantasyland, based on the book of the same name.

That's a great book, by the way.  Very funny if you like fantasy baseball.
Don't think twice, it's alright.

Great book.  After the book came out, they held auditions to find a regular guy to play in Tout Wars and be the subject of the movie.  And this guy Jed won.  I haven't seen the movie yet, but the reviews say that he finished mid-pack.
