Rule 5 draft

Astros didn't select anyone in the minor league portion of the draft.

The Orioles took Jose Duran in the first round of the AAA phase.
The Nationals took Nick Moresi in the third round of the AAA phase.

No impact to the Astros system IMO.

On the topic of Rule 5 Drafts: There was a former rule 5 loss added to a 40 man this year.  Santo Luis was added to the White Sox 40 man.  He was selected in the AA portion of the 07 (?) rule 5 draft.

I guess the Astros knew what they were doing when they left Clemens and Locke unprotected.
