Per Coop: Blum has sore left knee. Arias has sore right knee. Valverde fine but probably not available tonight.

So I guess that means that we will see Arias and Valverde tonight.

Roy in the pregame interview saying: "I didn't sign here to be mediocre".

Chris Young has sure fallen far. Fun watching the family of Brandon Allen react to his first MLB ABs. Pence and Ryan Roberts were teammates at UTA in 2003.  Roberts won Southland Conference player of the year in 2003, Pence won the same award in 2004.

Four wins in a row, four good pitching performances in a row. Coincidence?

Kevin Eschnfldr asked Jim Wynn if he played fantasy foolball, Wynn replied, "No, I don't even play fantasy baseball."

The Jimmy Wynn I knew in New Orleans barely knew the players on his own roster.
