After that approach shot on 18, Yang certainly deserves to win this championship.

What a great day that guy is having.

I wouldn't want to be anywhere near Harrington's brain the next time he's looking at a nasty pitch with water on the other side.

And on another note, Usain Bolt just ran a 9.58 100m. Incredible.

The trees in his approach line at 18 made me think he was going to hit a draw. Dude balled up and hit one super fade/cut. Shoot, maybe he went straight at it; couldn't really tell, as they didn't do a shot-track on that one that I saw. That he made the putt, too? Nails. Even more impressive than his approach on 16, which was ballsy, too.

I hope it doesnt get lost in the story that he won by 3.  It's easy to say Tiger didn't have his A game and he gave it away, but Yang's 70 was the low score of the day.  This win was all him.

He also had the low round on Saturday, matching Tiger for the low round of the championship. I love Tiger, but that was just a ballsy performance over the last nine holes. Hell, he reached out on 18 and flat out teabagged him with that birdie putt.

The Golf Channel guys said that Yang's coach predicted on Wednesday that Yang would win it.  I remarked to one of the pros at the golf course yesterday that "Yang would fold" in the pressure of the final round with Tiger.  He proved me and a lot of other people dead wrong.

What the heck happened to Tiger's putter?  Last week he was 55 of 56 inside 10'  He couldn't buy a put Saturday or Sunday.  Very un-Tiger like.

All him?  Not exactly.  Tiger just had to shoot par on Sunday, but his putter abandoned him.

Splitting hairs, but shooting par (which only a quarter of the field managed to do yesterday) would have left them tied through 18.  Granted, I'm sure all of us would give Tiger a 2 to 1 edge in that situation

It had to happen eventually, although I did not think it would happen this week.  Kind of funny how Tiger got some of his own medicine...the putt Yang holed on 13 coupled with the Tiger miss, the chip in on 14 and then the shot into 18 is exactly what Tiger does to opponents in the clutch.  I am pretty sure Tiger will use this for motivation...I would not bet against him winning multiple majors next year.

I think it's fantastic that the field is catching up with Tiger, and so now we have some very competitive tournaments.  Nothing against Tiger - but watching a bunch of chubbies flailing around behind him every week is not much of a spectacle.  He forced everyone else to step up, and now there's a decent crew who can take him on if they have a good four days.

Yep, he's the one I'm watching.  Quiet, unassuming kid with crazy talent.  Kim should be fun to watch, too.  He appears to be growing up now and focusing more on his game.

No way!  The crazy hair just adds to the fun.  I think it's great that there's some characters out there, instead of a parade of indistinguishable, country club, tee-to-green clones.

Don't know if you caught McIlroy's girlfriend when they arrived at Hazletine?  Not too shabby.

I see a lot of variation on the tour.  I think he looks goofy.  Also think once he starts working out a little, he'll get even better.

He's already in the top 5 in driving distance on tour... scary

More Happy Gilmore, less Shooter McGavin.
The rules of distinction were thrown out with the baseball cap.  It does not lend itself to protocol.  It is found today on youth in homes, classrooms, even in fine restaurants.  Regardless of its other consequences, this is a breach against civility.  A civilized man should avoid this mania.

Never thought I'd see white belts, again, but they seem to be here to stay on the PGA.  Rory obviously sports one, but he's not alone.
