BA transaction page reported he was released someday(not sure when, but I did read it)

He was released in May.

But I find he is still on MiLB.com roster page.

He is playing indy ball for the Sioux City Explorers

Which means he faces former Bus Riders Beau Torbert and Ole Sheldon.  Both Torbert (.352) and Sheldon (.340) are among the league leaders.
