If that's the correct lineup, my guess is Blum filled it out.

Kinsler: swings at first pitch pops out to Matsui in short RF.
Young: B low and away, B outside, B high, S down the middle, B outside. Young walks.
Hamilton: S low outside corner, F into 3b stands, K swinging, bat goes into the 1b stands.

And somehow Young hurt himself over at 1b. Looks like he tweaked a knee. Oh, Q made a snap throw down to 1b, and Young jammed his foot into the bag awkwardly.

Jones: B low, S swinging on a sinker or something, B low and away, S swinging at a fb down the middle, B low and away, fouls a breaking pitch down the 3b line, fouled back on a jam shot, popped up to Berkman behind the mound (a little more exciting than it needed to be).

Who's the old man in ybbodeus' seat? I wonder if he'll do the punchout dance.

What was Twinkie thinking on that last out? Matsui called him off, but Twinkie is bigger.

Cruz: S somehow, fouls ball into stands, B in the dirt, B outside, ground ball to Miggy, out 6-3.
Murphy: B (high, I guess), hit hard to cf but our man Bourn chases it down at the track in front of the hill.
Salty: S, S swinging over a breaking pitch, B outside, lines to Pence!!! in rf.

El Caballo: B inside, B low and away, singles to rf between 2b and 1b. There's a lot of tonnage down at 1b now.
Pence!!!: S on the outside of the plate, B outside, B low, B inside, GIDP 4-6-3. He hit it hard, but Kinsler was playing up the middle and got to it pretty easily.
Miggy: B low, lines to SS.

Oh, shit: JD goes over to the Rangers booth, and we get the dulcet tones of Tom Grieve. At least it's not that whiny douchebag Lewin.

Andrus: B, B, B, S outside, S inside, fouled into 1b stands, ground ball to ss, Miggy with a diving stop but can't make the throw. Man on 1st.
Holland: S missed bunt, sac 5-4. Runner on 2nd.
Kinsler: B nice breaking pitch but Kinsler wouldn't bite, B low and away, S foul tips breaking pitch, S fouls into 1b stands (Paulino is lucky that one didn't get clobbered), pops up to Matsui in short rf (Paulino jammed him with a high pitch).
Young: lines solid line drive into rcf, Andrus scores, Young at 1st.
Hamilton: B low, S swinging, B high, hard liner to cv, Young to 2nd, Hamilton to 1st.
Jones: S, B 58' fastball, B high and away (Paulino is struggling now), B inside, S swinging through a 96 mph fastball, broken-bat looper into lf, Young scores, Hamilton to 2nd, Jones to 1st. That as bad luck: Paulino sawed off that bat.
Cruz: S swinging, B low, S fouls breaking pitch to 3b dugout, foul to 1b dugout, B way high, B outside, B inside. Bases loaded. 31 pitches so far this inning.

Robinson out for a visit.

Murphy: B low, S inside, liner to rf, Pence!!! grabs it and the inning finally ends.

Keppinger: S inside, B, fly to medium deep cf.
Q: S foul into 1b seats, ground ball to 1st, out 3U.
Paulino: S outside, B low, B low and away, fly ball to rf.

Holland looks like he could turn out to be pretty good.

I think we're getting JD back now.

Salty: S breaking ball, S swinging through high fb, S swinging through another fb.
Andrus: home fucking run to the concourse behind the Crawford boxes.
Holland: S, S, K. Angry pitching there.
Kinsler, B, S, B high, meatball down the middle that Kinsler pops up to Miggy. That pitch should have hit the Conoco pump.

Ha ha. Aflac trivia: what three teams have never played in a World Series? Twist that knife.

Bourn: B high, S fouled into 3b stands, turns on inside pitch and hits it down the line. Jones gets a glove on it but can't make the play. Bourn on 1st. Ruled a hit.
Matsui: S down the middle, S swinging at shit in the dirt, Bourn barely gets back on the pick-off attempt (he may have been out), K foul tip fastball.
Berkman: S down the middle but Bourn steals 2nd easily, B low (close), S fouls a breaking pitch back, fouls to right side, K swinging at low changeup.
Lee: B low, S swinging through high fb, S high fb, jammed and pops up to Kinsler.

Holland has only thrown something like 45 pitches so far.

Young: singles through the right side on 2-2 count. Runner on 1st.
Hamilton: S swinging at offspeed pitch away, S swinging through low fb, fouled back, fouled down 3b line, B way high, fly ball to lf that Lee eventually gets to on the line. Young remains at 1st.
Jones: first pitch GIDP, 6-4-3.

Cruz: B, B low, S swinging at changeup, S fouled to 1b stands, B high, grounded to Kep 5-3.
Murphy: S swinging through 94 mph fb, S nice offspeed pitch on outside corner, B breaking pitch in dirt, B outside, B low I guess, fouled back, fouled down 1b line, fouled into lf corner, fouled back, lines single into lf. Runner on 1st.

Cooper on the way to mound, 102 pitches for Paulino. Here comes WW.

Salty: 1st pitch crushed into Crawford boxes, Salty and Murphy score. It took about 3 tenths of a second to get there.
Andrus: S, B, B, (or B, S, B, who knows?), S fouled down 3b line, chops the ball into dead marmot territory, Kep can't make the play. Runner on 1st.
Holland: S, S fouled off Q, B in the dirt, pops up the bunt to Wright. Andrus remains at 1st.
Kinsler: S on fake bunt but Andrus steals second easily, flies to Pence!!! in rf.

Hunter's Lodge? Really? That's the best we can do? I hope there aren't any pumas mounted on the walls.

Matsui: S fouls back high fb, S, 15-hopper up the middle and just under Kinsler's glove. Bourn at 2nd, Kaz at 1st.
Berkman: B, S, B outside, B high, PUMA!!!!! crushes a ball off the facade in lcf, 3 runs score.

Holland headed out. Wide load coming in from the bullpen; say hello to Jason Jennings.

Lee: B and S somehow, S swinging at low and outside junk, B low and away, B same pitch, pops up to Andrus in shallow cf.

Maybe Jennings will remember how he pitched at MMP and give up a quick 4 spot

Ok, now, shut up.

I'm still watching this game, I guess I really like baseball, even if it's a lost cause. The Astros record when trailing after 7 innings is 0-19.

The Astros have lost 21 games so they've only lost two when leading or tied after 7. I would have thought more.

Ortiz in to pitch the 7th.

Young: singles to rf.
Hamilton: S, S fouled to Dumbass Cove, B in the dirt, slow grounder to Matsui, flips a little high to Miggy, force on Young but no DP. Hamilton on 1st.
Jones: B low, S fouled back, pops up to Berkman in foul territory. Hamilton still at 1st.
Cruz: B low, B outside, B low and away, Cruz swinging 3-0 and misses, B low. Hamilton to 2nd, Cruz to 1st.
Murphy: S on the outside edge, B outside, S on a curve, B in the dirt, K on a fb at the knees.

Bourn is really batting well this year with men in scoring position.

Jennings stays in to pitch the 7th.

Pence!!!: S on inside corner, S fouled off to right, B slider low and away (Pence twitched but managed not to swing), B (same deal), B high (really?), hangs a slider in the middle but Pence pops it up to Jones in foul territory.
Miggy: S outside, doubles to the gap in lcf! Miggy on 2nd.
Keppinger: B low, S, B low and outside, B low and away, B high. Miggy on 2nd, Keppinger on 1st.
Blum ph'ing for Q: S slider on outside part of plate, S swinging at low changeup, B low, singles through the right side, Miggy races home and makes it! Keppinger makes it to 3rd, Blum stays at 1st.
Pudge ph'ing for Ortiz: S swings over slider, S check swing on a Biggio special, fouls back a hanging slider (crap!), K flailing at a low and away slider.

Washington out to make a double-switch. Wow, AL managers can do it! Can we lose the DH now? Chris Davis comes in for Jones at 1b, presumably hitting 9th, C.J. Wilson comes in to pitch, presumably hitting 4th.

Bourn: singles through the right side, Keppinger scores, and we're all tied up!!!! Blum at 2nd, Bourn at 1st.
Matsui: grounds to the hole, Andrus makes the long throw and beats Kaz by a step.

Keppinger shifts to 2b, Blum stays in at 3b, Pudge stays in to catch, Sampson in to pitch.

Salty: S, S swinging over a slider, B in the dirt, K swinging on a foul tip. Pudge dropped it but while he was pulling it out of the mitt.
Andrus: S missed bunt, S fouls hanging slider to rf seats, ground ball to ss, Miggy makes a poor throw but Lance bails him out. That was a pretty nice catch by Lance on the short-hop throw.
Davis: B, S swinging over a low and in slider, tapper in front of the plate and Pudge guns him down.

Berkman: S lined foul to 1b side, S, K on a low and inside fb.
Lee: singles through the usual 3b spot since Young was evidently positioned in the 3b coach's box.
Pence!!!: S on a mighty hack at a high fb, B inside, S swinging at a low breaking ball, rips a line drive into lf. Lee on 2nd, Pence!!! on 1st.

Washington goes to the mound. Wilson out, Darren O'Day, who is apparently something of a submariner, in.

Miggy: S, GIDP 6-4-3 on a pretty nice play by Andrus, but I sure thought Miggy would make it closer at 1st.

Apparently Michaels came in to pinch-run for Lee while I was snoozing. He stays in to play lf. Sampson stays in to start the 9th.

Kinsler: S foul bunt, B inside, S swings over slider, K looking on a beauty on the outside corner. JD breaks out the Bob Ross reference for painting the corner ("happy little trees").
Young: B, B, hanging slider is lined to Miggy at short. It was outside enough to avoid destruction.
Hamilton: S outside, B outside, B low (Blalock swinging a bat in the on-deck circle; hope he doesn't hurt himself), flies to Michaels at the base of the boxes.

Sampson's still your boy, Alkie.

O'Day stays in to start the 9th.

Keppinger: S, B, tapped back to the mound, out 1-3.
Blum: S at the knees, B low, S swinging at a low pitch, hits a line drive to pretty deep rf, but Cruz catches it.
Pudge: S inside, S on another Biggio slider, fouled to 1b side, B high, another tapper to the mound, Pudge out 1-3.

Off we go to extra innings.

nice... The Rangers announcers were going on and on about how hard it is to keep score at an NL game b/c of double switches and such, and how they're still not sure where Hawkins is now batting... So the director goes to a close up of the scoreboard-- you know, the one in RF that shows the lineup in gigantic letters. What the heck do they show on the scoreboard in Arlington?

Francisco in to pitch the 10th and throw some chairs.

Bourn: B high, S, S swinging at 96 mph fb, K swinging at 97 mph heat.
Erstad ph'ing for Hawkins: ground ball to the human vacuum cleaner, out 6-3.
Berkman (help us, Obi-Wan Berkmani; you're our only hope): S fouled back, B inside, S fouled back, B high, rips a liner into rf. Runner on 1st.
Michaels: S, B high (Mike Maddux sporting the Frank Zappa look), S swinging, B high, foul tip that Salty can't corral, K looking on a questionable call.

Motherfucker, I mean, seriously, if you're up by two or three going into the bottom of the ninth, sure. But in a close game where the the outcome is not at all certain WHY THE FUCK would you take your best hitter out of the game for a supposed defensive advantage or, tonight, for a pinch runner? If the pinch runner is Darrius Heyward-Bey and you're Al Davis, OK, I get it. Otherwise you are a fucking idiot. Jason Michaels strikes out to end the game when Carlos Lee, the best hitter on the team, is sitting idly on the bench. No wonder Carlos laughs lustily at Coop's fuck-ups.
