Carl Pavano anyone?
« on: December 11, 2008, 10:04:45 am »
I read somewhere that the expectations regarding Pavano is a 2-3 million contract with incentives.  It seems to me that this might not be a terrible idea for the Astros given their purported financial limitations.

Is Alyssa Milano still with him?  If not, then I want absolutely no part of the guy.  At least Hampton kept trying to get on the mound.

carl pavano is absolutely the most cowardly ballplayer in recent momory. it would be sickening for the astros to have gut-challenged hampton and gutless pavano on the same team.

This is a terrible idea. Pavano likes to take other people's money and then not work for it.

Hampton's guts don't seem to be the issue, so much as his various muscles, ligaments and tendons. Pavano is on a totally different level.

Supposedly the Astros have inquired about Freddy Garcia. I know he had a setback with his shoulder recently, but if that's not a major thing, then I'd much rather have him.

Pavano probably got on the mound plenty of times.  If not, why would he keep dating her?

No, I'm guessing he was at home alone pulling a muscle.
