Okay so it's not the real Ty Cobb The Lexington Legends announced today they have received the rights of the famed Ty Cobb from the Omaha Royals. In exchange for the young Cobb and in the spirit of the late Hall of Famer with the same moniker, the Royals will receive a bottle of Maker's Mark Kentucky Bourbon, a box of cigars and a copy of the 2003 film "Anger Management".
High expectations of the young Cobb
"Our staff had a tough time parting ways with the perfectly drinkable bourbon, but we're incredibly excited to have him join our team," said Legends General Manager Andy Shea. "One of his first duties as a Kentuckian will be to visit the Maker's Mark distillery, so he can see first-hand what we gave up for him and exactly how much we value him in our company."
