They wearing the patriotic hats?

Blue with logo in red/white/blue? Like from July 4th?

Don't you love it?  I've got Gameday running.  Any additional observations would be appreciated, but if they ask J.R. Towles what he'd do if he wasn't a pro ballplayer, I already know the answer.

For those stuck with HS football, I havent tried it this year, but last year the trick was to get mlb.tv (it's now $15 for the remainder of the season), find a proxy server in another state to connect through and watch the game that way.

Why do you have to find a proxy server in another state?  Does Mlb.tv blackout all of Texas?

My understanding is they administer the blackout zone by ip address.  You just have to find a proxy outside the blackout zone.

Ausmus single loads the bases, no outs.

Roy singles and gets his second RBI of the game. 3-0 Stros.

Bottom 5: Duke (LHP) still on the mound

Spaz: singles up the middle.  None out, Spaz at 1B.

Castillo: bouncer to third, Mientkiewicz gloves it on the short hop and throws wildly to 2B (e-5 on the fielders choice), ball into the outfield, Spaz advances to 3B, Castillo safe at 1B.  None out, runners at the corners.

Abercrombie: Broken bat looper into center, Spaz holds up on it and then scores, Castillo to 2B.  Pieroots 0, Good Guys 2.  None out, runners at 1B and 2B.

Ausmus: sharply hit single up the middle on the 3-1 pitch, Castillo holds at 3B.  None out, bases juiced.

Oswalt: hard liner into right, Castillo scores.  Pieroots 0, Good Guys 3.  None out, bases juiced.

Erstad: grounder behind 1B, A LaRoach (playing back, for some odd reason) steps on the bag for the force, Abercrombie scores.  Pieroots 0, Good Guys 4.  One out, runners on 2B and 3B.

Loretta: flies out on 3-2 pitch to center, deep enough for Ausmus to score on the tag, Roy also tags and goes to 3B.  Pieroots 0, Good Guys 5.  2 outs, Roy at 3B.

Tejada: ripped into left field (LF shading him a bit towards CF) for a double, Roy scores.  Pieroots 0, Good Guys 6.  2 outs, Miggy at 2B.

Thanks, OSF.

I get a warm feeling inside when I set my pointer on that little blue circle on gamecast and it says "in play, run(s)" but I need more info, and i need it fast.

In the end, my dissolution with the game of baseball will not be a result of any loss of love for the game, rather from the realization that I can no longer bear the anger its supposed stewards cause to be built up in my soul. -Lee (01/08/2013)

77 pitches thru 8 innings with 60 of them strikes.  Absolutely amazing.
Another trenchant comment by a jealous lesser intellect.

In my book, Roy is as good as anyone out there.
Everyone's talking, few of them know
The rest are pretending, they put on a show
And if there's a message I guess this is it
Truth isn't easy, the easy part's shit

Two San Antonio games missed in a row, two back to back shutouts.  A 1-hitter and a 27-batter-3-hitter.  Way to go Roy.

Facing the minimum is just incredible.  And Roy may start consecutive Astros games if they don't play until Tuesday.
