Rakuten Eagles
« on: July 28, 2008, 09:15:45 am »
I have a friend/neighbor who just signed with this team in the Japanese Pacific Coast League.  Anyone know a good site where I can follow the news on the team?  Hopefully in English.

if you cared, you would learn Japanese.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

What's Japanese for "WFW"?
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve and I believe in long, slow, deep, torture of Bud Selig.

Just tell your neighbor to avoid going on any Japanese game shows, no matter how good the money is.  Roppongi and Shinjuku are the best places to go if he gets homesick for a slice of western culture.

{EDIT:  albeit an odd slice that confuses its L's and R's}

"(512) ybbodeus looks just as creepy in HD as in person."   That is a problem, and we are working on it.

Thanks.  I would prefer it non-Japanese.
