I know things have been portrayed certain ways with regard to the atmosphere and environment in our clubhouse both pre and post incident.  The reality is that I think our guys have been focused all year long and when you go into an offensive slump, particularly when two or three players are struggling at the same time, it's going to look like a lack of energy or lack of spark.  I didn't sense that at any point and time and I think what we're seeing right now is that we're coming out of that rut we were in for quite some time and no time like the present to do it.

Question: Do you feel like everyone is on the same page, from you, to Cecil to Dewey to the players?

Yes I do and I think a lot of that has to result from constant communication.  You can't talk about certain things in spring training or talk about things in April and expect it to carry over the entire season.  So I think it is important to have that constant communication.  When individual players are struggling or they're questioning the strategy or how they're used in certain situations in games, the best way to resolve those things isn't to sit around and complain about your problems.  The best way to handle it is to sit down and find solutions and I think our guys are doing a good job of communicating and finding solutions to have us move forward.

It's the Men's Room with the worse sports radio talk show host in Houston (Brad Davies).   It's an interesting interview and true to form, Davies does his best to stay out of the picture and let Wade speak.  Typically, they wait until the GM is off the line and then rip him to shreds.  I can't tell you if that is what happened after the interview, I just wanted to hear what Wade said and then shut the whole thing down.

I thought he handled the inevitable, "Looking back would you handle the last three weeks differently?", question appropriately, probably from both a legal and professional standpoint, as he indicated he preferred to keep those thoughts private.
