Somebody else came up with that long ago.  I take none of the credit.

Well, my 20 pixels has only audio feed, no video.   FUN.

Then, video only, no audio.

Now they got it together.  Whew!

Friggin' Reds/Mets game (3-8 in the 9th) won't end, so no EI for a bit.  Thank goodness for the ole' backup plan!

Lifetime 43-58, 4.91 might have something to do with it.

Miggy, why throw that?

If I remember correctly, most teams wanted him for the bullpen, he was holding out for a starters job.

FINALLY!  They had a 'substitution error' in the Reds/Mets game that took almost 10 minutes to figure out (1 out in the 9th).

Wigginton's was a lazy fly.  Don't recall Berkman's well enough to categorize it.

Torres in for the save opp for the Brewers against the Cards (5-2).

If Lance had pulled it it would have left the yard.

Not in the least saying that Tejada should sit a game, but am thinking that Coop is going to win that argument here sooner than later.

I don't see it as a huge surprise.  Tejada, Berkman, Lee, and Matsui need some help. There are 5 guys producing in this lineup if you count Pence and Hunter is going to struggle against a ptcher like this.  Wiggy has only 3 RBIs for the whole year. Ensberg, Burke, Everette and Ausmus always batted over .200 that I remember.

Bourn hung in there and hit it hard against a tough lefty.

FB missed scoring two by inches, and the shot over Kemp's head in CF barely missed doing so as well.  CRAP!

Encouraging AB  by speedy nonetheless...

That could have gotten ugly.  Good to hold them to only one run.  Now, the good guys need to attack the LA bullpen.

On this board the subject of him faking an injury to come out of a game in the late innings has been brought up before.  That's why I asked.

DVRd back to the Berkman scoring play.  Not a whole lot of coverage in the LAD feed, but looked to be running well to home.  Couldn't tell exactly, but something looked a tad off on the slide.  Berkman caught up, put both hands on his batting helmet (seemingly with an 'oh no' expression) and then moved awkwardly for a second - then the camera panned away.

Any comments on the Houston feed, none here?

That was a late in a spring training game this year, and everyone in the box, the dugout and in the field seemed to know he was going for an Oscar to get to sit the rest of that one out.  Game early in the season while he is of fire, not a chance.

Well, whatever you wanna call it.  Pretending the knee was "tweaked" so he could come out of the game.   He gave an interview once where he joked about it.

I'm not criticizing him at all, I just couldn't read the tone of your first post.

Not that it means anything now, but it was about a year ago that Hunter heated it up on offense. He was hitting .229 on May 12th, then started an 8 game streak, with about 5 or 6 multi-hit games, that raised his average .120 points.

Fuck off, remy

Wow, jeez man... I wasn't attacking you at all.  I was referring to your techniques with the kids you talked about in that thread the other day, when you mentioned that as a coach you had no tolerance for temper tantrums.

Anyway, this team is on a roll.  Absolutely never out of the ballgame lately!

That Bourn catch was so fucking great. The best I can recall for the Astros since The Whore pulled that one back over the fence.

Don't get the postgame shows on EI.  Any news on Berkman?

Bourn's last two ups were hard hit balls to LCF off LHP. He show's progress. So far, Towles is not.

Brocail's tantrum was embarrassing, imo. It may be corny, but there is no place for that in competitive athletics. If you have an anger management problem like that, go somewhere no one can see you.
Often wrong, but never in doubt.

Didn't see it at all on the LAD feed (I guess thankfully).

Really? He started kicking a folding chair, and when it refused to surrender, he picked it up and started smashing the bat/helmet rack with it.

It was really embarrassing, like Jim said.  I wish they wouldn't show it on tv so all the kids wouldn't see it.

Right. That's the bad thing. We can laugh at the stupidity, but kids see it and think throwing stuff is ok because the pros do it.

PRW had a better one in the NLCS.
