Santana to the Red Sox

Johan Santana to the Red Sox is all but done. Jon Lester, a center fielder, Justin Masterson and Ryan Kalish are the package.

I heard it may be as much as five players: Lester/Crisp/Masterson/Lowrie/Kalish.  I guess they pulled Lowrie back?  Now the 72 hour window begins to try and sign Santana to a long term deal.

Maybe they should just mail them the 08 WS trophy now...at least the NY papers will be whining...course, I am getting tired of all this Boston sports dominance as well... must keep telling myself it is not all about the winning..right?

I will never be tired of Boston sports dominance as long as it is maintained at the expense of New York sports dominance.  Basically, I only really care about MLB anyway, so better the Red Sox than the Yanks or the [hack-thpoo] Mets.

At least the Dynamo beat the Revolution.  That's something at least.
