Dear Red Sox Nation:

We find it shocking that Julio Lugo would make an error in such a critical situation.

Sincerely,

I need a better replay on what went down there. I was celebrating the tying run, but the guy on second wasn't even close to rounding third.

Anyway, fuck the sawx and their pink hat wearing self righteous "nation".

Now comes the opinions about how the Astros could learn something from the way the Red Sox built their team.

It's a simple recipe: first, sift $200mm into a large bowl...

Going into the World Series, the Red Sox have 2 former Astros on their roster - Lugo and Curt Schilling.  The Rockies have 3, all from that trade - Taveras, Hirsch and Buchholz (Steve Finley and Tom Martin retired mid-season).

In four of the last six World Series, it seems it paid to have the most former Astros on the roster.  See ya, Red Sox.

wait wait... so you're saying if we would have released the whole roster and resigned them in 2005, we would have had a slam dunk world series win?

Dammit, shoulda signed Trever Miller a year earlier :(

Poor Kenny Lofton. Is there a team in Major League Baseball that he hasn't been on? Ramblin' Man.
