Will she make it through the off season?

Here's a sampling of the majority of the questions in Footer's mail,

Would or could Houston go after Alex Rodriguez ...?

... Andy Pettitte...Has anyone given any consideration to the idea that the Astros could bring him back?

...Is there a chance that Tom Glavine may come to Houston?

...Roger Clemens in an Astros uniform in '08 for one last go-around?

I really think the Astros should have experimented with Brad Lidge as a starter. Has Lidge ever started in his career in the Minor Leagues? Do you honestly think he can succeed again in the closer role? But I think his stuff still merits consideration as a starter.

...Is there any chance that we get an Andruw Jones?

Expect to see them recycled in a month or so in Justice's blog.

I love the guy who says "I really think the Astros should have experimented with Brad Lidge as a starter."  That kind of humor can't be forced.

Dear God, if those are among the "best" questions she can answer from her mailbag, it's a wonder she doesn't slit her throat with her staple-biter.

I'm glad the 'Stros got some cash for Mo and Lane.

I'd kill the mailbag until the regular season if that's what she's going to get.
