Yes, they are irredeemable assholes.  So is Phil Rogers.  He calls the WS matchup "lackluster" and says "...it's going to be hard to top the 10 days of hardball just staged between the American League's two best teams." He is only remotely accurate in that a 7-game series almost has to have a small degree of drama.

Here's the bigger problem:
There was not a single lead change in any of the final 5 games.  In game one, the only lead change was in the first inning.  Only game 2 had any semblance of drama.
