Nothing new here.  I really hope he is not the only option for our future at 2B.

Burke misplayed a routine groundball, it looked like he slipped trying to make the play.  But it looked a little like he had to slide to get back to the ball he overplayed.  The error was given to Berkman for dropping the two hop throw that Burke made.

In the next frame, Patton had two outs and a man on first when Theriot hit a gapper to left center.  Soriano was stopping at third when Pence's throw went crazy and missed two cut off men.  Soriano scored what was an unearned run because the next guy, Derek Lee, struck out for the third out.

This is not the best defensive team in the league and that has to change for next year.

Thanks. Game's not on Extra Innings today.

i saw the cutoff play and thought he was blaming Burke for that.

the one i saw with two on, he crushed the ball down the 3B line. Ramirez made a great backhand stop to get a DP. what else did he do?

The radio made it sound like it was a soft roller to third after Marquis had thrown 5 straight balls. That's all I have to go on so I probably shouldn't be so harsh on him.
