Brewers closer implodes
« on: June 09, 2007, 10:42:14 pm »
The rangers staged a 4-run, 2-out, 9th inning rally to down the Brew Crew.  Makes what happened to Wheeler the other night at Coors look ho-hum.

Quote
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) -- Michael Young singled off Francisco Cordero with two outs in the ninth to lead the Texas Rangers to a come-from-behind 4-3 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday night.

Only one behind the Jakes.  That's still the next score I look for after the Astros.

Suit yourself, but we still gotta pass both of 'em in the end.

I have a feeling it's going to be an absolute dogpile in this division the last week or two of the season.

It's very, very rare that I have a reason to root for the Lame-gers.  Interleague play will do crazy things to you.

Funny to see the STrangers beat up their former closer.

FWIW, Brewers' pen blew it again in the 9th tonight at texas.  Tied up at 6 in the 11th but the brewers are threatening.
