Lazy Horse

Just got home from the game.  Make no mistake about it, Carlos Lee makes Jr. and Manny look like Charlie Hustle, particularly on ground ball outs.  I can see the Astros are taking on a much different attitude than we are used to, and I don't like it.

What a schalacking.  Should have stayed home and watched Brokeback Mountain or something.
Lighten up, Francis.

He didn't move 3 steps on Griffey's flare down the left field line.
Oye. Vamos, vamos.

Perhaps he's been too used to playing on shit teams.  The Astros are making him feel at home.  If anyone was doing anything right, maybe there'd be some impetus to break old habits...

The whole team needs a lead-boot ass kicking for now. That said, it just sucks that the newest ax-wielder, whom many of us (myself included) deemed, "most bright of potential talent albeit most soon to be richer", seems to lack motivation during these trying times when semblance-of-enthusiasm would be most helpful.  Not exhibiting any sort of pride of duty, Carlitos effortlessly conveys "lazy" with every pop-up, ground out, ball-scratch, and called third strike. I know (hope) better times are coming for us all. Until then, I guess 7 years in Astro Salary Prison ain't too bad.
After all, I have been in and out of the joint since I was 8.
