I mute the tv and pickup the Astros radio broadcast. You have to synch it up because tv is ahead of radio but that is easy with the delay tv button.I do that too. I usually end up a little behind GameZone
I quit sling and moved to Youtube TV. I would at least use the free week during this round of the playoffs.YouTube TV, Fubo, HULU, etc. all seem to offer a free week. Try them all and then choose your favorite. I’m using FUBO TV after trying several providers, mainly because of ATT SportsNet is only on my it. Unless I’m mistaken
An extra $20-30 million...every little bit helps feed the family. We certainly don't want anyone to go hungry.
In what fucked up alternate reality is Bob Melvin not the AL Manager of the Year?Rocco Baldelli wins in my fucked up alternate reality.
BOB is probably the worst offensive coach in the last 30 years in the NFL, and most assuredly the worst developer of QBs in the history of football. Whoever thought he was some sort of offensive guru was sniffing glue. And he can't negotiate trades worth a damn either.
Berlin to Budapest is great. Mountain passes, rIver gorges, picturesque villages, medieval castles and so much more.Milan to Basel to Cologne is spectacular for the same reasons.

So Brandon Backe threw the 55th Immaculate Inning in baseball history in 2004. Harris's tonight was the 100th. So almost half of all of them in history have been in the last 15 years.I think a few of them had been thrown against the Keystone Astros.
The other two must be pretty damn special. They are. One taught me how to play trumpet, the other taught me how to ride a horse.
It’s actually very doable when you don’t have to spend anything on marketing, make a profit for shareholders or pay a CEO a gadgillion dollars. The worst thing about competition is marketing. Think how cheap auto insurance would be if the insurers weren't allowed to fill airtime with Flo, the lizard, Aaron Rogers, Shaq and the General, J.K. Simmons and that other guy that was in Oz, Pedro Cerrano, or the myriad of other hucksters hawking their wares.
Who has more GGs...Greinke or Keuchel?Greinke 5 to 4.
Ahem . . .I know... too close to the fire.
What an AB from Bregman. So awesome.
14 pitches, finally doubles.
He's 3 for 3.
Most AL K's since 1980Len Barker led the AL with 187 in 1980. Johnson had 308 in 1993.
Gotta be Urquidy or Valdez.I agree and that prospect is only slightly less worrisome than Miley.
Wrong!!!I missed it. Who was it?
They need a day off from playing baseball. Unless Alvarez is worn out from picking splinters out of his ass, he needs to be in the lineup. He might be suffering from the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune.
I'd think Yuli was a bit upset that it was about to hit him right in the fucking knee right before the postseason.I think she was referring to Ausmus being a whiny bitch.
That was a ridiculous double-play.Fletcher has become a pretty good player.
Thanks! Y’all don’t give up on Greinke. I like that it is not coming easy for him. I hope JV and Cole are talking his ear off.How long are you going to be gone Coach?
Prosit!
I baby sat Magellan. You should have told him about the Panama Canal.
Yep, keep the yellows, throw back the channels and bluesThanks. I don't cook catfish very often. When I do I tend I just to cook what ever I just caught. To me they all taste pretty good but I hate the mess deep frying at home makes. Also there is a very good catfish restaurant, Clear Springs, nearby.
Here's what you're looking for:

These are catfish of the eating kind, right? What size are they, I believe they grow pretty big.Catfish and largemouth bass. The catfish I catch are usually less than 3 pounds (1.3 Kg), I've caught as big as 17 (7.7 Kg). They are good eating when fried but I usually just allow them to go gently back in the water.
Haven't seen any fishing reports lately, have you been catching?I’ve been installing new floor at the townhome in Austin most of this month so I haven’t done much fishing lately. I’m kind of a lazy worker when I employ myself so it’s only about half done. When I fish in the river I almost always catch a fish.
Fucking bloop double to the opposite field drives in Semien (whom I am contemplating elevating to piss-ant status).Around here he's known as Mucus Semen,
The Astros will never give a pitcher than many years...I think.Totally agree. Three maybe, four unlikely.
Hum, thot that was a trick. He's not visible on OWA...Land 'o Goshen, why so bodacious?
Besides, my bride assigns my homework...
Fading Boston fired Dave Dombrowski.John Henry dropped the hammer on him.
Everyone raised their batting average today except Springer. He was 1 for 7.His slugging percentage was still pretty good.
Do guys like that just decide at some point in their life, "yeah, I'm just going to be a dick."I'd ask Antonio Brown if he was here.
BBGs prefer Astros today versus this:Did Francona ask him, "What the fuck is your problem?"
https://www.mlb.com/news/yasiel-puig-doesn-t-run-out-ground-ball-vs-twins
They are walking base to base. Seattle is just hopeless today.Jerry Dipoto will makes some trade this off season and well, he'll make some more trades after that.
Will Stubbs, currently in LF, move in as C once Cole is finished and could we see Abreu in this game?If that's what Hinch wants.
Shed Long (stil love that name)Short for Shedric.
In that regard,I would say it depends on Correa's health and what A.J. and Jeff want.
Is there a chance for Toro to make the playoff roster?
How high would he have to hit?
How does his defense compare with the other options. w/ Bregman @ SS?
Had to look it up....Auto corrected quadruple for some reason.
It's good to learn about something besides (in addition to) baseball...
What is six doubles?
Villone had one of the all-time great relief appearances. As I remember it, it was a day game in some hellhole like Cincy, and about 100 degrees. Whoever the starter was got thrown out of the game during the very first AB, and Villone came in and proceeded to pitch something like 8 innings.Yeah, I have foggy memories of that.
Except you need three Altavillas to make up one Big Rig!And from the port side.
Yuli 3-2 fouls, walks on a Joe west special.Same location as Altuve's strike three.
Indeed. Some addicts come from decent families.True. There is no common denominator. Non addicts and good people come from bad families too. I've seen great parents that did everything right and still had their kids turn out bad. I've seen some really bad parents turn out some good citizens. The variables do not all exist inside the family, they are not insular. Also I have seen some pretty messed up people turn their lives around and become good productive people.
Three feet or thee yards? Three feet is just a step and not much of a "warning" for a guy running.
For some reason, the warning track is five feet deep rather than the usual three feet. That's why he jumped too soon.
Why is the warning track so deep?
Funny, heroin is one of the very few drugs I never tried. Was a big william s. Burroughs fan as a teenager and it always Suprised me when someone I knew using heroin mentioned his writing as the inspiration. I thought it was pretty clear from his work that using heroin was a horrible idea (junkie, naked lunch etc.) while using ayahuasca might be an excellent one (yage letters).Yeah, I don't get how those books would inspire someone to use heroin. I never read The Yage Letters. I don't know when or if he ever quit using but Burroughs lived to be 83 and remained productive until his death. Quite an amazing life.
Is being an alive addict strung out on heroin better than death?Yes. One there is always a chance of getting better.
Not mine. In patient rehab started her recovery, and incarceration turned her around. I am thankful law enforcement intervened and glad she had serious consequences for her behavior. Was she incarcerated for possession or was it something more?
I am the parent of someone who overcame dangerous crystal meth addiction. I cannot think of anything worse than letting people use heroin without legal consequences. Reduced crime? I guess so. They made it legal so possession and distribution must also be legal. How many of those experts want their kids addicted to heroin?I'm glad your daughter has overcome her addiction issues and is prospering but your singular experience aside, I'm wondering if you read the whole article? It's not about legal heroin as much as it's about lessening crime by supplanting the black market trade and saving lives by reducing overdose deaths. I'm not saying I think it's the right thing to do or even that I'm for it, I'm saying it is being done in other places with positive analytical results.
“Legal heroin.”The boggled minds of the Dutch.
Mind-boggling.
No kidding. That ball was crushed and Kalas says somberly..."there's a fly ball to left field...I thought, "Why is the fielder giving up?"
Yeah, the whole Just Say No thing hasn't worked so well for the past 40 yearsNeither has the DEA.
And gave up a double to the other one.I'm not necessarily advocating for it and it would fuck up historical records but I think what qualifies as the winning pitcher might need to be reconsidered. I even think the 5 innings for a starter is a bit archaic in today's game.
Seriously, was anyone surprised? I was not.Sadly, I can’t say that I was. I wanted to think it was something like, he died of having some congenital heart defect. Like DK.
Jomboy comes thru (of course).I wish I had hair I could flip....

'Strike' 1 was fucking terrible too.
Wasn't he the one who sucker punched his manager (Luchesi?).Multiple sucker punches. Put Lucchesi in the hospital if I remember correctly.
To me this is the most important thing out there. What might be the most brilliant decision the Founders made was guaranteeing a free press. Complete independence from government is beyond vital. When they do their job right they are THE most important check on government. We the people need them and rely on them to be accurate AND complete. When they are the service they provide is immeasurable. When they let other things, like allowing themselves to be in bed with one of the parties, get in the way of the fullness of their job they compromise themselves and end up fucking over their own impact. There is no "free press" anymore, and there may never have been. Journalism has always been--business first. The history of the press is filled with corruption and influence peddling on a multitude of levels. But other than that, I totally agree with you.
He tweeted this today, LOL WTF. How have I never seen this before.HaHa I hadn't seen that. Lenny Randle was often looking for someone to hit.

I wouldn’t sweat it. The rating system shined praise on Sphinx’s draft and noted that his best pick was Eric Ebron. I am not down on Sphinx’s team but rating the best pick on highest rated team as the poster boy for touchdown regression whose QB retired 2 weeks before the season may suggest the robot is huffing paint thinner.I think the auto-writer/grader was saying that the gap between the average draft position of previous Yahoo Fantasy Football drafts (77) and when Ebron was selected in our draft (113) somehow made him the "best" pick. Anyway, I waived Ebron and picked up Delaney Walker today
Reddick doubles again.Triples.
Sounds good. You can probably get a guy like Gabbert in the 6th. Don't want to draft a qb too high.I was thinking about D Watson as my fist pick.
Kevan Smith shouldn't have been Smitty, he should have been Kevin."Salent Bob"
Freshen up, freshen up, freeesheeeeeen up...Hadn't heard that in a long time, now I'll be singing it all morning.
Man, that's from back on the day.
Gotta be the shoes!!!You better be good if you are gonna come out in those!
Venezuelan, I think. Live in Quebec.Correct, they immigrated to Canada before Abraham was born.
I just felt bad for her. I realize English is her second language. That's why I felt bad for her. I can barely speak one language. They're Quebecois so French is her second language.
You know, I have to say I love them both equally. I really think they're both terrific.I would tell you my favorite verse but, it's personal.

Yuli takes strike one at the ankles.Terrible call.
Jim, I really think that you ought to not click on this thread anymore. You make a good point.
Rogers caught it. Barely, but it was a good call.Agreed, also his foot was coming off the plate too. I think it was too close to overturn if he had called Bregman safe.
I had a maiden voyage of surf fishing at the new crib the other day and it was a resounding failure. Perfect time, perfect tide, nothing.Do people catch fish there or nearby ordinarily? I've never had any luck surf fishing. Well, except once when I was about 14 and surfing near the old Flagship Hotel with my brother and a couple of my cousins and I saw a hunk of Styrofoam floating attached to a stringer of 5 or 6 speckled trout that I was able to snag.
Speaking of cork soakers, you caught any more fish?Because the Astros lost yesterday, I did not fish today.
WTF is wrong with Carlos and his back? Was this nothing more than stiffness and soreness after a long flight and a panicked rush to the IL?I have no idea about Carlos. And of course I'm no Doctor but it is possibly not a spinal issue. A strain or sprain of a tendon, ligament, or muscle (but not a tear) seems more likely. Those can cause constant pain and severe muscle spasms and require inactivity and several days time or longer to heal. Then one might do Physical Therapy for a short duration to strengthen any atrophied muscle before one is back to normal.
Ate at Leslie’s in Waco many times. There was one in Austin too when I was a kid, but the Waco location lasted much longer.I ate at the Waco one a few times too back in the late 70s. Honey at every table.
Stevie Wonder.Ah, Stevie Wonder is black. Must be Ronnie Millsap.
With him and Stanton, they at least have a decent working understanding of each other, but KE's voice and pace on the studio broadcast is even more grating than his PBP voice. I tend to keep the remote handy when half innings end so I can quickly mute out if they're kicking it back to theFIFYstudioRooms-to-Go Lounge.
Yeah. I try to get my courage up, but I inevitably quail.Ain't enuff scratch in the world to get me to peck at it.
You ever bait lines with live perch? No, I haven't tried that.
Well, he's made of glass, so it could be anything. He seems so fragile.
Yellow?Channel. On a minnow.
I suspect he was in a first-class hotel in the Bay Area for a couple of days. I'll take that mistreatment. If he went for a walk in San Francisco he'd have to dodge a lot of turds on the sidewalks. That place is really developing a problem.
My vote is for Himalaya. That looks really good. i might have to try it next time I'm in town.
Bottom of 4
Sanchez walks
Jay lines out to RF
Anderson triples to RF. Sanchez score. Astros challenge the call as the ball became lodged under the outfield wall padding. Over-ruled to ground rule double, Sanchez to third.
McHugh in for Miley
My comment included a possible loss today.I know....
Better wake up, guys. Looking at three losses in last four.As long as they win two out of three I'm happy. I don't wanna be sad.
Holy fuck. Six inches off the outside corner for strike 2 on Correa. That was more than 6 inches.
The idea that you would, alone, take your four boys to games in Baltimore absolutely blows my mind. I can't take my kid to the goddamn grocery store alone without that little lunatic's running off into the ether. If I had four of them, they'd each pick a cardinal direction and I'd have to decide which I thought had the best chance of survival until the age of majority and run after that one. Or, thinking this through a little more, maybe pick the one with the worst chance. I'll never know, hopefully.Hell, I can't even imagine. I have a hard time just organizing myself. No way I could manage four boys.
Waiting to see if Hannity et al will pursue the Epstein suicide with the same vigor as their Clinton/Foster fever dream.Or like the vigor of the James McDougal death while incarcerated. Or a combination of the two.
Not.
Some folks say Armed Forces was the high water mark for Elvis Costello. Personally, I liked his first two albums more. 40 years ago... time flies when you're having fun.Too me, he was just getting warmed up on his first three albums but I'm the kind of fan that loves all his work. He's one of my all time favorites.
What do you use? I bought a Spin-Clean but haven't broken it out yet.I've been using a Discwasher for 45 years.
Ahem.Stage left.
That was RF, Sniffy.
He has the worst average of anybody but catchers and pitchers. You know that has to really bother him too.
I just got back from an awesome vacation, so I’m a little grumpy. I’m trying to stick to the game.Where did you go?
Joe Morgan is a complete dick.Maybe so. He was a pretty good ball player though. It was his broadcast career that brought out the dick side.
It’s not like the Sox were great, how many of the 2005 Sox play for the 2019 Astros? 1?I would love to have the 2005 version of Mark Buehrle on this team but I'm happy to settle for Wade Miley. Paul Konerko was pretty good too. But fuck those guys.
McHugh is looking like an October spectator. What happens in October?
Dierker stops talking mid-sentence just to watch Alvarez batI've instituted a no talking rule at my house when Yordan bats.

Reams written about him and the disorder on this site in the aftermath of the trade..Exactly. Also social-anxiety disorder, does not mean a person is an anti-social misanthrope in any way. It's more like clinical depression and is treated with the same drugs.
Lucroy DFA to make room for Stassi.WTF?
Am at Dell Diamond to work tonight. Media notes say Abraham Toro has been promoted to RR. He is not in the lineup tonight. Tucker is playing 1B. He did not hit a homer at home in July and only 3 during the month.Tried to listen. The TuneIn app isn't working for the RR broadcast. Works fine for the Fresno broadcast but not Round Rock. Bummer. Tried it on computer and phone.
Do they want Alvarez rather than Bregman?Maybe, lefty on lefty.
Yeah, he's been OK. He's also had pretty bad stretches. And his stuff just always annoys and confuses me when we don't smack it around here and there.I should not have said pretty good, should have said half-decent. He needs to get hit.
Also he is duck-footed.
I am always annoyed and confused when we don't fuck up Clippard.Other than his time as an Astro, when his ERA was over 6, he has been pretty good.
Great defense!Reddick, knowing the situation (one out man on third) judged the flight perfectly and sprinted over to get in position to make the catch and throw.
Greinke was diagnosed with social anxiety disorder in 2006 after quitting baseball.Good article. Thanks for posting.

For a second I thought the Indians got rid of the Mario coin sound - but it’s still a thing. I hate it for some reason, but I’m not gonna let it get to me today. It seems kind of weird not seeing Chief Wahoo anymore. But I understand.
Bob NightengaleTranslation: Astros pitchers don't love throwing to Stassi.
8m
The #Astros pitchers loved throwing to Maldonado last year.
I was gonna say he's pretty good at hitting baseballs but after looking at his stats... he has not been good for the RedsClassic underachieving million dollar body ten cent head type.

Forgot to activate secret agent mode on Clippard. He is not eligible due to his overall shittyness as an Astro.
Incredible. It was equally incredible that his average dipped so low.
Came back at .238.
Starting tonight. So far 3IP, 0H, 0R, 0BB, 6K.Finished line 5 innings. 1H 0R 0BB 9K.
Which is fine! He's still super young. The real question is whether he has the maturity to dust himself off, learn the right lessons from the suspension and the struggles, and get back to developing his talent.I think that is the plan. A restart, so to speak.
Yordan sure likes sliders in the dirt.Hopefully he's learning and not developing any bad habits or patterns that can be exploited.
Should I read anything into Carlos being pinch hit for?I hope he hasn't scheduled any massages for tomorrow.
He played 2 games in a row at LF in Cincinnati last month. In NL ballparks Hinch might like having him as a pinch hit option for when the pitcher comes to the plate. It's not like he should be starting over Brantley, Springer, or Reddick at this point in his career. The way this team is constructed he is perfectly suited to DH in AL parks. Hinch will get him at bats.
I hope I am wrong, but based on his one AB last night, more work is needed in the OF and/or 1B b/f we can see more than one AB from him at the home of an NL team.
Altuve would have been on 1st w a walk if he hadn’t fouled the pitch above his head on 1-2And now Altuve would be on second following the Bregman walk.
10 years ago tonight I was part of an OWA group outing to watch the Astros lose to the Mets 10-3 and it was one of the greatest life changing nights of my life. Thanks to all, especially those who keep this community going.Did you meet someone special or something?
He is a baseball player. Nothing more. His approach hurts his team, often when it needs him the most. And Nijinsky was just a dancer. Nothing more.
His approach seems completely backwards at times. When the winning run is on base and he needs to get that guy in scoring position or to 3B with less than 2 outs, he's trying to hit a 7-run home run...when down by two, with two on, two out and an extra base hit ties it, he's working a walk or bunting. And it seems like it happens regularly. It drives me nuts.I have quit thinking of him as a baseball player and more of as a bold surrealist, as a spontaneous artist not as a well planned stat-head analytical type. He improvises. He flies by the seat of his pants. When he is in the box rarely does he have a plan other than see the ball, hit the ball. Jackson Pollack drove people nuts too. So did John Cage. John Zorn. Ad Reinhardt.
Beer?I couldn't say when was the last time I had a Milwaukee beer, Or any fried cheese.
Wow, I had forgotten that. In Milwaukee or Houston or both?I remember Uecker making a few one inning visits to the Astros' booth back in the day. He is the only thing associated with that wretched franchise I don't loathe.
I doubt he would be scouting HS kids in that job.Who says he's scouting? He is at Wrigley according to his
Let's also not forget this.At least he didn't joke that he raped and murdered her.
Not sure I want this one, but the All Star cap is great!I'm the other way around. I like the All-Star cap okay but I'm afraid the piping would look goofy on my head.
... not sure what KG is doing at Wrigley.Maybe to attend the Under Armour All-America at Wrigley today to observe the top high school prospects?
Are you calling Biz a big boned slob? No. Are you?
As a fat guy, this is nuts. You think the Astros suggested his off-season program should be nachos and bud heavy?Well, you may be fat but I don't believe all fat guys are created equal. That is nuts. Some are slobs and others are just, big boned.
Wanted it to happen, knew it was coming, still a sad day for a good guy.Yep. No one to blame. Just better options for the Astros and he was out of them. I don't know about how his weight gain might have or have not affected his performance. There's been fatter guys than him that have done quite well. I wish him the best.
Has anyone heard who’s on the mound tomorrow?Rogelio Armenteros.
Yordan reminds be of McCovey. His number sure but his swing too. McCovey’s was longer.I was thinking a little like a cross between McCovey and Stargell.
Terrible. Pujols smacked that like he was sitting on it.Slapped not smacked. But yes.
Why would you walk Tyler WhiteOut of pity maybe?
Fletcher is good.He is Marwin 2.0
Looks like a Weekend at Bernie's situation happening right above the State Farm sign too.If he ain't dead, wake him up.
I've eaten BBQ at the fight scene location. It's Cele's Store in the country between Pflugerville and Manor.
There are some Second Hand Lions here, but it's still a great place for those that love the Astros.
Syndergaard is latest from my insider.Yes, please!
Who was it who wrote the "novel" about himself?Wasn't it about a teacher by day and a super hero/spy at night? Saving lives and winning hearts and minds 24/7.
Man, I do not remember posting there or arguing with you. If I won, I must have been lucky.Perhaps it was someone else with a lot of baseball knowledge and a little inside info that posted under the pseudonym coach.
throwing a "message" pitch that close to the head is chickenshit. If I had been Hinch I would have retaliated but to the rib area. Then he could have said "that's how it's done" while writing the check out.Maybe he can just write the check to Correa's masseuse to visit Ramirez.
I guess the settled on “cocksucker” and the other “c” word as two of their guns in that fight. The juxtaposition of profanity with Victorian prose is startling yet effective.
Also, just genius, pitch-perfect lines such as:
“Here’s my counter-offer to your counter-offer: go fuck yourself!”
Who here has not wanted to use that phrase at work every day since the day they first heard it?
Canning gets canned. Taylor Cole to pitch.Asmus trying to preserve a chance at a win.
It never once occurred to me that he was not going to catch that.Sure was pretty.
Tonight was the first game back in Anaheim since his death. The Angels all wore identical Skaggs 45 jerseys.I love that so much!
They then proceeded to have two pitchers combine on a no hitter. Afterwards, every player left his jersey on the mound.
Not a dry eye in the house, let me tell you that much.

Did Vaswhatever really just say "soft white underbelly"?Blue Oyster Cult's original name was Soft White Underbelly.
Bad luck or not, 2/3 of an inning is grade A horse shit.More like grade C.
Every accusation a confession.Every cop is a criminal and all the sinners saints.
They don't have one, they cut Yonder Alonso and his .584 OPS last week.Don't they know Tyler White is available cheap?
Saw a video and I think it was Rosenthal, saying might be a return similar to what the Rangers got for Yu Darvish which, if that's true then sign me upMe too. But I'd hope for a better result from Bumgarner than what the Dodgers got from Darvish.

I watch and remember when it was a real game the players and fans cared about.Me too. I remember when they played 15 innings in '67 and everyone said it was a great game--contrast with 2008. I also remember watching Pete Rose colliding at home plate with Ray Fosse for the win.
The highlight for me was Berkman’s admission that he eats possum.Did he say if he removed the musk glands or not?
Saved penalty saves the day!She really did. Great anticipation and great execution.

There are a few loose ends tied but more are left dangling. I don't want to spoil anything.
I haven't seen the movie yet. Is it an ending, or is there room for more movies?
When Wolf Brand was on the menu (thankfully, not too often), my sister and I would beg to eat in front of the TV (with "TV trays", of course) just in case that commercial came on. Then hilarity ensued.I always wanted to do that, so I could say; "But, but, I'm eating it right now?"
There wasn't as much to entertain kids back then.
I have just started rewatching it. I am currently most of the way through Season 1.I didn't realize Bell or Offerman were on the show until I re-watched it.
I am thoroughly enjoying getting reacquainted with some of the details I’d forgotten over the years. Mr. Woo’s white cocksuckers, the conversation over the blood stain between Al and Jewel, EB’s aside after telling Jane to “be brief” and she told him to “be fucked” and Kristen Bell’s femme fatale.
However, I was not ready to reacquainted with what I know realize is Nick Offerman’s cock.
I have the volume down and Nebraska on the Sonos UP.Nebraska?

That’s up there with John Barnes’ rap on “World in Motion”. I’ll let you decide if that’s praise or not.Don't know or care.
"There is no trace of last year's hometown blues in the 2019 offense." - Knoxbanedoodle, June 15, 2019Okay, maybe a bit of a trace.
The Astros have been outscored 38-7 in five home game since that comment.
Megan. Fucking. Rapinhoe. That could be her gangster rap name
I only saw bits and pieces of the game, but it seemed that England played much better and forced Norway to play worse. Congrats to them.I actually think France will win Hope I'm wrong.
The USWNT's showing on Monday against Spain has me feeling uncomfortable about today's match against France.
What a sad human being. Dude should at least be claiming he could do something fun. I'm so sober I could totally create some spreadsheets right now.Officer, I purposely drove my car into that building to prove how drunk I ain't. No drunk man would do that on purpose. Sure, maybe by accident but not on purpose.
Correa is top 5, maybe #1, for SS arms.Agree. I can't think of a stronger arm of the top of my head.
England advances past Cameroon, these Viking women from Norway will give England a run for their money.Inglaterra leads Camerun 3-0. 60 minuto marca
AJ Pierzenski is fucking brutal.I hate him a little more with every syllable he utters.
Bregman gets up under more balls than a midget hooker. The proper term is, "little person" hooker.
The Tech program is so far beyond the program I saw forty years ago that it's a completely different thing. The field then was about high school caliber and one just walked up to watch a game. The players practiced on hard pan dirt in 25 degree weather and 30 MPH wind in down jackets.Rip Griffin was a great man. Donated quite a bit to Lubbock Christian University too.
Rip Griffin donated a bunch of money and got the Red Raiders a real stadium and some other facilities, like indoor practice capability for harsh Lubbock winters. Then Kirby Holcutt was hired as A.D. and he hired Tim Tadlock who turned the program from an also-ran into a power.
Tadlock is a master of player development, which is what's needed to pull a program up from the bottom. Now, with the Red Raider's success, Tech is starting to see better recruiting which will hopefully keep us in the mix for Omaha for some time to come.
With men's T&F natty, men's basketball national runner-up, baseball, and Tech's continuing national dominance of meat judging, it's a golden age of Texas Tech sports......well, except for football.
Hey, wanted to ask you: Have you seen the documentary "The Five Russians". I've got it cued up to watch and judging by the reviews and trailer, looks like a very good documentary about the Red Wings employing an all-Russian five on the ice at one-time strategy. Opinion? The Blues are NHL Champions.
I watched the game as a Seminole fan solely because of No. 11. 17 trips to the CWS and no titles. Believe me, it takes more than just talent to win the CWS. I wish Coach Martin well in retirement. He was one of the best coaches and role models in college baseball. He'll be missed. He had an outstanding career, that can not be argued. A lot of good players flowed through the school during his tenure.
I think we should protest on the grounds of “that was some real bullshit”Well, it was.

He did not setup to block the plate. The throw made him move into the area where a clear path was available for Kemp. Hence he has to catch the ball before he tags a runner and in order to catch the ball, he had to shift and block Kemp's clear path. It's a judgement call at that point if the possession of the ball was evident or not. It was close, but I believe he had possession and was only blocking the plate becase in order to gain possession, he had to shift his body into that position. So Kemp could have bowled the catcher over in an attempt to jar the ball loose.
Yep, when the ball stuck in the corner, I knew Bregman would score. Cannot believe he held him up.I wasn't as sure as you guys were about Bregman scoring, but man, when an opportunity like that presents itself you must attempt to capitalize on it. If the other team makes a miraculous play, you tip your hat to them and go on. The Astros did nothing and got nothing. Hell, they didn't try to get anything. They just said, fuck it.
Any recs for Juneau?Rent a car and drive around, bask in the splendor and temporarily forget you live in Dallas. Go to Hangar on the Wharf and eat fresh caught salmon or halibut. Go to the governors mansion and look at Russia.
Not hotels, mind you. I'd never be so crass as to defile the GZ in that way.
Austro is supposed to say this. He's not here tonight. So I said it for him.
