He was just raving about those crazy eye drops Blummer is always talking about.

That Taco Bell commercial reminds me that the biggest boo of the night in Dodger stadium was when the PA guy announced that everyone had won a taco after Maybin's steal.  It was quickly followed by a "F--- your tacos!" chant.

Yeah man, I was saying, "Y'all don't like tacos??? Who doesn't like tacos?????" That was the inning they stopped thinking I was funny.

This is me.  So incredibly stoked.

Feel like I need a parking lot buddy, though.  Dodger fan has been my worst experience as a visiting fan.

I'm going to try to get there by 4pm, depending on traffic, so hopefully will have a little time for a parking lot beer or two.

My ticket is in 60RS, Row U.

My boss apparently got me a ticket...no idea where yet, but I will let y'all know. Like minded Stros fans always appreciated.

5
The wife has given me permission to attend game one or two...think I'll go with Verlander. Am hoping for prices to drop after first pitch, though, $1K is a bit pricey.

6
Didn't we chase Sabathia from a game after one inning a few years back?

7
My blood pressure and heart rate couldn't take much more of that game.  Woo Hoo!

Was going to say the same thing. Might need to work on some cardio to get ready for the next series...

I moved to Orange County from San Antonio after our last season in the NL, so despite my initial misgivings about the DH, I have benefited greatly from their frequent trips to Anaheim and cannot complain.

As a Disappointing Rookie, can anyone explain how frito pie came to be the meal of choice to appease the BBGs?

11
Another ROOT stat claiming league average for inherited runs scoring is 9%...Can someone who tweets ask them to explain themselves?

12
An advantage to streaming is you can combine radio feed with broadcast.

And another walk from Musgrove.

Is that an option on the At Bat app, or do you need to be streaming through an actual computer to take advantage?

So, what is the current score, inning now?  Thanks.
Stros up 3-2, Top of the 9th, Valverde on, 2 outs, 2-2 count...

His best plays today seem to be turning a couple of his double play balls into fielder's choices.  Not that time, though.

I am enjoying the Euker-only broadcast with no color man.

I'm making the trip up from DC for Saturday night's game (and sitting in my buddy's law firm seats).  If only SNS had some sort of hand sign that I could throw up whenever I pass a fellow Astros fan to see if they're down with the SpikesNStarz...

i didn't realize he had made the out.  I was reading the Game Zone, nothing else.
As far as I could tell, you made Lee get the out.  Unfortunately, the wheels came off right after that.

I'm tired of reading about how bad Wiggy is (on other boards) and how badly people would like to have Wheels back. They weren't saying that last summer.

I want Ty to go on a run just to spite them.
All the Stros talked about how tough he is...I wonder if he didn't come back sooner than he should have.

Overcame a 6-run deficit today. Last time that happened was the 2000 season.
I've been dying for some highlights from this game up here in DC...of course we get the next-to-last billing right before the Braves-Phils.  This is when I hate our lack of national recognition (otherwise I'm totally cool with it).

Aurilia's .245 ranks last in theirs.
And yet, they're next to last in the NL in runs...I'll take our lineup any day.

Up here in DC they got Tolman (Nats' 3rd base coach and former Astro) mic'ed.  Not near as interesting, he told Felipe that anything off the roof is in play.  I will say, they got Don Sutton calling the game and he and the other guy are pretty damn good.

Re: "The Bridesmaid" comment

I think Milo was having a senior moment, according to "Brewers Nut" on a 2004 posting on "Addictsports.com" forum:

The off-season wasn't all bad, though, as Helms and girlfriend Meredith Wilson were married on December 11th at a wedding chapel in North Carolina. The two met at the HealthSouth Medical Center in Birmingham while Helms was rehabbing his shoulder surgery and topped their wedding cake with a baseball that Helms signed and gave to his new wife.
