I love it.  I hope Yankee and Red Sox and Dodger fans everywhere never get a wink of sleep thinking about how the Astros bounced them.  If being hated by the big market clubs is the result of the Astros winning, bring on the hate!

I’m with this. Fuck those guys.

The WS in ‘17 has made everything over the last two seasons far more bearable. I’m still bummed but I’d be losing my shit if it weren’t for ‘17.

So my buddy started filming me while I was streaming the game with a few work colleagues. He knew what I was about to see and knew I was about to lose my shit.... here you go:

Talk Zone / Re: ALCS - time to reset the lineup, right?
« on: October 15, 2019, 01:15:15 am »
I’m not advocating a change in the order. I too think it should be left alone, but I personally would not be worried about Alvarez’s feelings. If I thought there was a way to improve the offensive performance, I’m doing what is best for the team. If Yordon gets his feelings hurt, he’ll just have to get over it. Winning this series is more important. If this was the regular season, I would agree with you.

Having said that, I think it is best to leave the order alone. I don’t know who you put in the DH spot to improve the situation, so leave Yordan there. Alvarez needs to be sat down and shown on film what he was doing earlier in the year in his approach versus what he’s doing now. I suspect that has probably already been done, but correcting that it is easier said than done.

Wtf. We’re talking about a handful of AB’s. Yordan will have his time. Enjoy the ride.

Could just be some cramping for springer

10
On the the fox internet feed they show everything in between innings from an outfield cam. Looks like springer went out to center.

11
My current predection is this series ends 4-1 Yankees.

The Astro offense is garbage at best.

All they have to do is win every game Verlander and Cole start. No big deal, right?

12
I think the Astros were tipping their AB’s....

Only thing that drove me nuts was how they kept sing hat Cole was the best pitcher and having him not pitch till game 3 was such a disadvantage. Never even mentioned Verlander.... his game 1 was masterful. He’s still the ace.

Great to hear that the Astros are going to make a reasonable offer. He can make $100MM over the next three years and earn it with the best teammates he will ever have and be backed by the best combination of offense and defense in baseball. No doubt he will get much better offers. As a practical matter, how much difference would an extra $100MM make in his day to day life or does the notoriety of breaking the bank overwhelm all other considerations?

An extra $20-30mil feeds quite a few future generations of Cole’s

I think in a 5 game series Miley is on the roster along with Urquidy. Miley starts with a short leash. Sometimes when you have a “new season” (post-season) it can be a mental reset.

Most of this discussion ignores the underlying  mental illnesses that accompany the majority of addictions. People will self-medicate when necessary, especially when the alternative is bipolar episodes or severe anxiety etc. I’m not sure what the solution is.

Of course he is not a starter for the postseason. I did not say he was. They traded for his stuff and potential. I like the trade.

I agree. I like the trade. Mostly just saying that I think Hinch made a good move tonight. Using the word “slop” likely doesn’t translate well to people that have played/coached.

41
Game Zone 2019 / Re: Tigers at Astros- August 20, 2019
« on: August 20, 2019, 08:40:00 pm »
Bullshit. He is the 5 starter long term. That is the reason for the trade.

Yup. He is. But if this team is lucky enough to be involved in anything after the last day of the regular season then Sanchez could be a weapon out of the bullpen. He certainly won’t be starting.  If he’s just here to hold down the #5 spot then great... I have a hunch that the “”brass” might be expecting more though. He has crazy stuff, that ball moves. Tonight he didn’t have it.

I have been playing around with lineups. Catcher and Reddick/Marisnick at the bottom are set. What do y’all think about this:

Springer
Altuve
Yordan
Bregman
Brantley
Correa
Gurriel
Chirinos/Maldonado
Reddick/Marisnick

I hope I’m not going to far out here... but maybe this is what’s pissing off the BBG’s?

Unfortunately, as Astro fans I don’t think we get the luxury of  talking about “lineups”.  We don’t get to talk about rotations or a batting order. I’m thinking we just get to talk about the basic shit and hope we don’t piss them off.

How ironic that with two people that had such similar careers in Bagwell and Thomas that one was in some ways “shamed” in to relative obscurity and the other gets to leer at women while popping a pill ( pahhlease don’t make this a race thing, I won’t have it.) during commercials. Matt Olson’s stance reminds me of  Shawn Green. Holds the bat high and over the plate. I hated Shawn Green...

Eta: anyone remember the time he basically left his elbow IN the strike zone. Got hit. Then proceeded to throw a hissy fit that ended up in some crazy nonsense between the Dodgers and Astros?

An alternative narrative to this season would be to see if Luhnow has compiled a AAA team capable of winning the AL West.

My nephew is a huge Cubs fan.  During the 2003 playoffs, he flew from MS to attend a Cubs-Marlins game in Miami.  We experienced the impact of Cubs fans at the game.

Late in the game, with the Marlins ahead, a rumble started down the LF line: "Boom!  Boom!  Boom!"  By the time it reached us, we could hear it - and feel it: "Let's go, Cubs!"  It went on forever, and circled the stadium.  Quite a surprise, in enemy territory!  On script, the Cubbies rallied and won the game.

The range of WGN (720 AM) has produced a host of Cubs fans around the country over the years.  When they aren't playing the Astros, I pull for them.

Isn't it fun to see growing numbers of Astros fans in enemy territory.

There was some thread somewhere in which I implied that from something you might have said or I misinterpreted where I got that vibe.

Alvarez is obviously the hot ticket right now but a year ago (or was it more?) Tucker was “cant miss” for all of us. I hope someone pans out. Can’t have too much outfield depth.

Or... is Luhnow’s plan to make Alvarez the spot OF but mainly DH/1B and Tucker the corner OF for the future. Maybe we might all be too hung up on Kemp let alone White.

Right now, I doubt Luhnow could use Tucker as much of a chip.  The perceptions of him may be solidifying.

Season 5 is no doubt the nadir. Season 6 is outstanding, and I found the highs of season 7 outweighed the lows - but it was definitely uneven.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had plenty of problems with season 5 (including other episodes throughout the series - but that’s to be expected with so many different directors) and was often frustrated week to week with what was going on but... if I might suggest, try picking out 6-10 of the key episodes (Red Wedding, Blackwater, Battle of the Bastards, etc.) to get back in the flow. Rewatching those episodes has been a blast and I’ve been able to fill in most of the blank spots at the same time. I think this last season will be memorable.

Eta:

Also, it’s amazing how much crazy shit happens under the radar in those keystone episodes. You watch them for the first time and obsess about the major players that just bit the bullet and after a rewatch there’s some seriously major “other shit” that goes down.

I’ve only seen him a few times in baseball and was surprised he was taken that high but the A’s are no dummies. 15 million seems highly unlikely, almost like he’s trying to provide cover for leaving or going back on a promise he presumably gave them.

I also doubt he’s NFL quality mainly due to size, but the game is changing and he does have a unique skill set.

I grew up in Norman and still bleed Sooner blood no matter what.

If you want my honest opinion... and the same of a few of my close HS friends. This guy is trying to get as much cash as possible as insurance. I don’t blame him. He might know that his size and ability is a factor in both sports. Why not try and get as much now as possible? If something works out, great, everybody is happy. If not... millions of dollars can be a nice consolation.

150
While I admire your optimism, I think you're delusional.  Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, etc will never, ever, under any circumstances, no matter how illegal, immoral,  appalling or egregious it may be, go against Trump.  They will go to the gallows and sell every single American into Russian slavery before they ever *not* toe Trump's line.

This is spot on. People’s media memories go back one week. People’s political memories don’t even go back the minimal required 4 years. They (Trump supporters)  have decided to embrace this.

Why apologize for something that people will forget in a week? Why admit guilt to a crime that people will forget about in 3 months?

I appreciate the nostalgic ideal that there will be some kind of “historical reckoning” but that shit is gone. People that give two shits about that are about to start dying, are dying already, or, are already dead. We all play for teams now. .

Just like my fading memory of the Bush(1) administration “issues”, shit is moving on and keeps moving on faster and faster. . We’re in a new political epoch. Buckle up. We can’t even keep track of all the bullshit that happened yesterday.

Astros' arb cases under Luhnow/Crane:

2012 (0)
2013 (0)
2014 (0)
2015 (0)
2016 (1)
-Castro (5MM vs 5.25MM)  Astros Won

2018 (2)
-McHugh (4.55MM vs 5MM) Astros Lost
-Giles (4.2MM vs 4.6MM)  Astros Lost

Not a particularly winning strategy for the Astros thus far with net losses of $1.1MM (not taking into account all the man-hours put in prepping cases to present the arbitrator).

I’m also not too wild about seeing McHugh on the list twice. He’s been a great citizen with the club. Role changes and not a peep of discontent.

There is substantial evidence that President Obama was in fact divisive. Was he the most divisive? I don't know and don't want to make such an argument. Do I support President Trump? Absolutely.

If there is “substantial evidence” that President Obama was divisive then please provide it. It can’t be hard if it’s so “substantial”. I’d like to hear what you have to say.

I don’t have to lift a finger to provide evidence that President Trump is nothing but devisive.

I’ll start with “bad hombres” or how about “nasty women”?... maybe a little “look at her... I don’t think so”. Classic.

We can even go to “locker room talk” or even the classic “lock her up” which I can tell you, plays very well amongst women with careers and like... self respect.

How about “some vets can’t handle coming back from war”? I’m sure in /Chicken Hawk Land/ PTSD is a liberal construct. I’m sure Trumps feet were awefully sore. Poor guy.

Let’s return to politicians that he might disagree with... in addition to “lock her up” (not sexist at all for sure) we have “disarm Clinton’s bodyguards”. That was a dandy! Or... “Obama is the founder of ISIS”. Seriously, we as a species should be able to look back way beyond 4-8 fucking years and make coherent judgements of how our societies are unfolding. So many people to blame, including ourselves....

How about actual calls for “division”? “2nd Amendment people, maybe there is' something you can do”. WTF....!?!

Or... “I hope you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing," he said. "I think you will probably be rewarded mightily by our press." Referring to Russia... that’s not divisive at all, right?

Belittling a vet in Khizr Kahn... not divisive?

Muslim ban?

“Thousands of Muslims cheering on 9/11”? (!)

“Mexican immigrants are bringing crime. They’re rapists”

But yeah... you don’t know if Obama was divisive or not... sure.

I’ll leave you with this, about a well respected republican ffs:

"He is a war hero because he was captured“ “I like people who weren’t captured”

I can’t wait to hear all the things Obama said that are this shitty. Can’t wait!

It is spelled Holgorsen btw...

I sincerely hope all of you in Houston get used to spelling his name soon!

One good thing about his time here is that a local burrito place came up with a “Dirty Dana” burrito. It’s excellent.

Dana Holgorsen is a walking couch fire. Please take him UH. Morgantown doesn’t want him. He’s a mess personally and has chased off more top level recruits than he’s brought in. Enjoy.

I am watching series three of DareDevil and also re-watching Battlestar Galactica*, but I am also now of a mind to re-watch all the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.  For those of you also inclined this way, here's a handy primer how to watch them in chronological order (it's not the same as release order).

* I am re-ripping BSG into 1080p, so I am re-watching as each batch of episodes is complete.  It takes about 4 hours to code 1 episode into 1080p because of the grainy effect they used on the show.  Makes for huge files too.

FTR, I find the Captain America trilogy the strongest, with "Winter Soldier" being the standout of the three.  The Iron Man trilogy being knocked down a peg or two due to the relative weakness of the main villains.  To be fair, the Iron Man trilogy was complete before CA2 came out, so there is a strong argument that they were not yet fully in their stride until they were done with IM stand-alones.

What exactly are you getting out of the 1080p rip of BSG? Wasn’t the series filmed exclusively using 720p/1080i tech? Was there a remaster in 1080p? Otherwise why bother? Do you get better results doing this instead of letting your tv/blu-ray upscale? (All of these are honest questions, not a challenge)

I’ve never understood the vitriol for Harper. He has amazing potential. He literally came up to the show as a child with the highest expectations imaginable. He certainly had a few regrettable moments but he’s far from an Odor type of asswipe. I think most of the shit he gets is unwarranted, but I admittedly don’t watch a ton of non Astros baseball. In addition to starting pitching this team needs a legit bat. If they sign Harper I’ll be ecstatic about the potential.

I don't understand what's being argued here. He lined a ball foul that landed ten inches foul well beyond third base. I have no idea what people are talking about with this it hit in front of the plate. There was a shot from down the third base line that showed what happened as clearly as you can see it.

It wasn’t an argument until now.

It's absurd that they didn't fix it over the off season. The rule is ludicrous.

This is exactly what’s wrong with the NFL replay system on “catches”. It ignores the intent of the action and the motion of the game.

Of course, you're right!
Even stats based on such a small sample as three games - especially with the 'Stros are winning - can be fun.
What they do show is how strong pitching, starters and relievers, can muzzle good hitting in a short series.
Looks like the ALDC will be w/ Boston (leading 4-1 in the 9th).

The Astros didn’t face “good hitting”.

If it’s Boston they will face “good hitting”.

I can’t wait.

« on: October 09, 2018, 08:00:11 pm »
Yeah...

The Indians played like shit and the Astros didn’t make many mistakes. The Astros were the beneficiary of some horrendous defense at the worst possible time for the Indians and the Astros took advantage of a bullpen filled with people that might not have been on the Astros 40 man roster this season (I know they have talented arms there but they were a steaming pile of shit this year). If you gave the Indians the choice of the 4 pitchers left off our roster and their own bullpen I’d be shocked if they chose their own.

That’s the sweep I saw with my eyeballs this last week.

Make no mistake, the Astros had the easy road to the ALCS this year. The next round they’re about to play a real team. Likely Boston.

I give articles like this zero gravitas. It’s basically statistical masturbation. Luckily, the guys playing the games don’t give a shit either.

 Buckle up!

Kudos on being bourbon-fueled, but this team is better. It’s distributed differently, and I’m not basing it on post-season success, but this team in properly stacked with fewer holes - notably at starting pitcher (1998 went from the Unit to the Shaner to Lima).  The ‘98 versions of Bagwell, Alou and Ausmus walk onto this team though, as does Johnson.  That’s probably about it for the starting 9 tjough.

My god... could you imagine Bagwell and Alou on this team?

That could have been a lot worse.

It did not take long to realize how incredibly awful Eckersley is.  And for some reason Eck is corrupting Orsillo who prior to this has had a full career of being competent play by play announcer.

I can’t stand the way he puts “piece” at the end of every type of baseball activity as if that somehow makes what he’s saying cool. Once I realized that was going to happen at least once an inning I’ve been listening to the radio broadcast.

I’m even getting pretty good at syncing things up. It only means I’mmore than  a bit behind HH and his apparently mainlined DTV connection. (He always seems to be at least two pitches ahead of whatever I’m watching)

It's all somewhere in between and it's woven in the fabric of this great country. We're all equally fucked and will remain so until people are willing to exercise give and take politics instead of tribal politics. All this whining and hand wringing may bring comfort to some but it solves nothing. We must all learn to love again. We must be willing to meet half way. Compromise is not a weakness. Yes people, love is the answer.

This is constructive! Thank you. I’m totally fucked and so are you. Where do we go from here?

You might consider that a lot of us have been watching him act like a lunatic here for 20 years.

Well. I’ve been on the forum for at least 16 years (didn’t keep track and mostly lurking for most of that time) and I ignored anything non-baseball for a good chunk of it. So yeah, I have little context. This thread has been fascinating to me though. The biggest “concern” I hear from people I disagree with is that I just don’t understand them and am out of touch. So, I want to listen. Please provide something of substance.

I’ve been waiting and the substance is lacking so far.

286
I spent way too much time writing something that ultimately would have been “tldnr”. So here’s a summary:

Holy crap. Accusations of racism and domestic abuse on a sports forum about a memeber that most of us know very little about feels like a cheap shot and ultimately extremely unproductive. You can’t cry “you’re an extremist!” and then be guilty of the same thing. I’m not friends with anyone here on Facebook so I might not know 90% of the story but that brings me back to my original point - wrong forum. None of this makes anyone look good imo.

That being said...

Mr. Happy, personally, I whole heartedly disagree with you on pretty much everything you post on this thread. I feel like I started this current shitshow with my dig at you about your Indians fandom (2-0 btw! Tough shit!) but that wasn’t personal. If I could ask one thing... please speak from the heart and explain your positions. Basically, if it fits on a bumper sticker I’m not going to listen. If you lead with, or your main point is “libtards” I’m not going to listen. If your only reaction to a major political event is “haha! I win you lose” then nobody is going to listen. If your response to something you don’t agree with is making fun of the extremely normal and and evolutionarily required menstrual cycle (PMSNBC) then again, I won’t listen and you are clearly in the minority in attitude and basic human decorum.

Are you listening to this? Because I’m trying to talk to you, isn’t that what you want from the “other team”? (Don’t get me started on the team dynamics of current politics)

If you don’t care then so be it, I’d rather hear from someone like Limey who consistently presents well thought out and mostly thouroughly vetted summaries of the daily political machinations. I might even occasionally disagree with some of his posts, I’m pretty sure he doesn’t give two fucks.  Please present your sources! Explain why you think what you think with that context and I think this thread could be far more interesting. Otherwise why are you here?

Sphinx: you’re obviously a bright fella. You’re input would be welcome if you have the interest. It might actually help some of the “team democrat” folks here. I think the key is that we all keep away from the instinct of getting mad when someone challenges our “team”. Make no mistake, we are all getting played by making us choose a team. Especially us sports fans. We love choosing a team and sticking with it through 100 loss seasons and 100 win seasons. Very applicable.

For the record, wtf on Kavanaugh. The guy already has a lifetime court appointment. Nobody was trying to “ruin his life”. His life is already going to be just fine. This was about selecting someone who should be in the top .01% of their profession. If there are major concerns regarding honesty or criminality or temperament then we can wait more than one week before pushing through a confirmation. If there’s too much smoke then move on. Surely there has to be at least one other candidate that can pass the smell test and still deliver what is expected. His life was never going to be ruined. Give me a break. As soon as the next news cycle hits and whatever the next shitshow is that we all get to witness, BK would have been forgotten within days. Who even remembers the last political boogeyman?

Meanwhile, a lady who really had nothing to gain gets to deal with death threats to her own self and her family. I genuinely hope the never ending shit news cycle buries her current situation and she can carry in with her life.

‘Murica!

This still ended up tldr...

I love chili and when I think of chili it has meat in it. It’s the only way I make it. I also am not from Texas so when I see a veggie chili cook off here in Hicksville WV (as you’d like to imagine it) I know what genre of food they are trying to create. I know the taste that they’re going for and when done well it ‘ain’t a stew. It’s something with a shit ton of chili’s in it. And beans. It’s spicy. And savory. And it’s not bad to eat when the zombies are out and about.

No, you cannot.  Anywhere.  Chili, by definition, has beef in it.  Without beef, it's not chili.  Period.

Chili con carne has meat by definition. Chili is all about the capsicum. I know you know this so this isn’t a disagreement. Also, I don’t eat veggie chili unless it’s the zombie apocolypse and animals are contagious.

What in the wide world of sports does not having a passport have to do with one's ability to see the UN for what it is: an anti-Semitic, jealous group of socialists who are constantly trying to get our money and our sovreignty. At its inception, given the nature of the world at that point, the UN made sense. But not anymore. Most of the member countries are lawless hamlets anyway and aren't worth saving. He thought he tagged him. He did not.

If he thought he tagged him then no need to look to third. He either forgot how many outs there were or assumed he was already safe. I think it was a two run brain freeze.

Devo is done. Rondon is the 8th inning guy who has earned Hinch’s trust. Perez in a high leverage spot like that would be nuts.

McHugh would have been a good option and before the Osuna acquisition I would have liked to see him get a crack at the closer role.

All of this is hindsight and I started all of it so my bad. Shit happens sometimes.

Exactly. I feel like Sipp is now a late inning option and Perez is the situational guy. At least with this roster.

I fear Devo is done for the season.

Rondon only looked good for half an AB.

He does not get very many ABs.

Gattis never does well when he’s rusting on the bench. But when that dude gets hot, holy shit.

White has hit himself into a key role on this team. Really hard to bench him.

I always got the impression the pitching staff never really clicked with Stassi and that was one reason for the Machete pickup. But I don’t know jack about that, so who knows?

If that replay can’t get overturned than the current system is broken. I don’t think there’s any Ill intent but if you’re paralyzed by the call on the field and have to see everything perfectly from every different angle even if one is pretty fucking clear then fuck that shit. It’s only another way to delay the game.

I’m still stewing over that call at home. Why can’t we get some sort of short explanation as to wtf they couldn’t overturn that? There was a view that was clear as day showing him beating the tag. With the technology available today they can sync views and see that the hand was down on the base right?! W. T. F.

If they’re just going to defer to the decision made on the field whenever they might have a slightly tough call on their hands then why have this shit there in the first place?

Strange that the speedy McCann didn't get waved in,  what with his basse stealing propensity and all.

He does look far more slim after his dl stint. Not that he should ever steal a base but it’s good to see him moving well again. That could be important down the stretch.

It’s SO good to feel this late season tension again after last year.

Turned out pretty well. This was the starting point: https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/one-skillet-corn-chilaquiles. I blew off the jalapenos and diced up a couple of Hatch chiles instead. I had a couple of chicken breasts in the fridge, so rather than use a rotisserie chicken, I seasoned them with a salt/pepper/dried citrus rub and sauteed them and then shredded them after they cooled. Pretty straightforward and took about 45 minutes. I put some lime juice in there, too, but I love limes.

Hatch peppers are all the rage now... I wish I could get my hands on some fresh ones in WV.

Question to the MLB savvy who read this Wednesday morning or who may be with us tonight:

The gidp hh's to be a point of emphasis with the hitting coach,  right?  Know the situation,  what the opponent wants to do,  have a plan etc ...

For me and what I’m seeing... it’s more that they are swinging too often at “pitchers pitches” and watching fresh meat sail on by. They make contact for sure and that’s nice and all, but their pitch selection is garbage.

Game Zone 2018 / Re: Astros @ Athletics, Aug. 19, 2018

Realistically speaking:

Springer looks ok
Yuli is coming back around
Marwin has been pretty good for a while
Gattis's slumps are shorter and not as K-ridden
Altuve should be Altuve, Bregman is consistently really good

The big question remains Correa.  They love showing that "last 162" stat, but this season he's batting .253.  His numbers were off before the layoff (hurt and playing thru it?).

Production,  then consistent production is needed from CC then the other cogs listed above should shine.

I remember a walkoff hit Correa had right before he went on the dl. Teammates were trying to celebrate with him and Correa basically waved them off while grimacing and reaching towards his back. Like in a “you guys know I’m hurting” kind of way. I think he was hurt for awhile.

Pressly threw the best possible curve you can throw with two strikes. It broke about four feet and grazed the lowed limit of the zone. It was a strike 100 times out of 100. Apparently this was time 101.

Dugout starts chirping. Rather than ignore it, HPU decides to engage. Maldonado immediately stands up and gets in front of Marquez and proceeds to say, I imagine, Look, you missed that call badly but I didn't say shit about it and my pitcher didn't say shit about it and you do not have to hear the dugout if you don't want to. You own this, but it's you that's making this an issue, so let's get back to the game.

And that was that. Maldonado talked to him for a good ten seconds and Marquez didn't seem to be saying much if anything.

Badass. Thanks

I caution you not to invest too much in my thoughts on this, though. I am not among the site's vanguard in maintaining an up to the minute perspective on current trends in Thai flavored ice creams.

After my chicken satay ice cream experience I feel well equipped to do the calamari thing if it’s deemed necessary. I’ll leave that up to all of you.

I’m really starting to become concerned that making calamari ice cream may be the only remedy. Who has access to an ice cream machine?

I’ll try just about anything. If it means I don’t have to get another cat then sign me up.

I think this might actually all be my fault...

We got an orange cat before the 17 season and named him Astro. We all know what happened next.

I got divorced earlier this year and the ex kept the cat since I travel for work constantly. Ever since Astro moved out of my house there’s been a revolving door on the dl.

I’m not sure how to fix this one.

Marisnick likely makes that play in center. Not that it’ll matter.

Fucking a.

It was insurmountable at 2-1.

4-1 is poor sportsmanship.

Pathetic.

Things got dark last year around this time but I never really panicked (a big lead helped) but this year feels different. I don’t like what I’m seeing from the offense even a little bit.

Fuck. Two on, one out...two pitches later (neither strikes), inning over.

Automatic.

What's it about?

Not much and also a lot. That’s what makes it great. Mostly sex jokes but they’re well done.

That’s a line from Archer.  After Archer and Pam have sex:

Archer:  Wow, where did you learn that?
Pam:  You know I grew up on a farm, right?
Archer: I’m really hoping those two aren’t related in any way.

Great show.

Man, Correa looks bad. Really bad.

He usually does until he doesn’t. I hope he gets it together soon.

This shitty offense is being no hit by a scrub. I can’t remember such a punchless stretch. If it weren’t for two lucky swings in SF the Astros might have been in second place after tonight.
