Does drafting Castro mean the Astros have given up on Sapp? I understand the draft, in any sport, is a crap shoot. But isn't this a premature coup de grace for Sapp's career? Or not? Sapp is still young, he's only twenty and he's a year younger than Castro. He hasn't shown much, if any, improvement since he's was drafted, but I've been under the impression that he was a "project."

Sorry if Cabrera's a Brave on my second post, but whats the deal with Chacon suiting up with 32? Per the official page, it states that he changed his number from that ridiculous 1 to Jim Umbricht's retired number. ...and "whats on tap" reaffirmed it. I don't understand how they can just pull something down off the rafters.

I've been lurking since Kev & Scott's Astrosconnection, and I've finally been compelled to post. Being my first post, I'm a little worried I'm going to get my ass handed to me, but I promised myself I wouldn't be a pussy like my dad said I would be. Honestly, I really don't know what makes a good first post, I've seen plenty of them. Initially, I planned on posting a mock help wanted ad asking for prospective pitchers to call the Astros human resources department. Unfortunately, I was beaten to the punch. Unlike most clarks, I am going to stay away from the standard unprovoked and unwarranted burn on Coach Jim. I'll embrace my clarkness, I guess. I've decided to post because I want to give some kudos to the staff here on a job well done with the new site. It looks really good and I look forward to all the new changes coming up. Anyway, fire at will. Go Astros.
