Title: Jason Jennings increases in value
Post by: pravata on November 15, 2006, 01:42:39 pm
Smoke em if you got em.

During the general managers' meetings this week - they began with a dinner Monday night - Jimmie Lee Solomon, Major League Baseball's executive vice president of baseball operations, will recommend the 29 other teams follow the Rockies' lead.

"I think the Rockies are ahead of their time," Solomon said. "Baseballs are stored in all kinds of environments. They are subject to varying temperatures and levels of humidity.

"The Rockies took it upon themselves to replicate the climate that is suggested by the manufacturer. It's really the proper way."
