I thought we were tipping our pitches.
-
I think this is a more infallible explanation.
-
look at all the time wasted with the whole stuff trusting issue....
-
I believe that it is called Bucholz, Rodriguez and Nieve coming back down to earth a bit, together with our penchant for sometimes failing to hit with runners in scoring position.
-
"We" just need to score more runs than the other guys.
-
Outscored 34-5 over the last three games. Ouch. Whatever the explanation, that's an ass-raping that stings.
-
I'm pretty sure no one on the Astros is trusting their stuff. Yep, that's the only explanation I can think of. It's not a simple matter of every team going thru stretches like this. Definitely, it's a matter of stuff trusting.

Bullshit, Tom. Pitch tipping.

You're both wrong. The problem is Drayton McLane not spending enough money and settling for non-franchise players. Sheesh, get it right people!

Damn, I feel like I am reading a blog in the Comical.

The only tipping I want to hear about is cow tipping. Any other tipping besides that is bullshit. Well, there's "tipping" wait staff, which is ok, but anything else, BULLSHIT!
p.s. never try to tip a bull. Bad, horribly bad idea...

It's the Enron curse. Shouldn't have named the the old rockpile after that lackey 'neck outfit to begin with.
The team will struggle for the duration of the Lay-Skillings trial. The verdict will determine the course of the rest of the season.
Damn, I thought everyone knew this.
-
So how will the verdict effect the season again. If these scumbags are found guilty, does that mean the stros go to the series?

That's exactly what I thought. Anybody can see how the outcome of that trial would be determinative of the Astros' season......but which way?

...that's an ass-raping that stings.
As opposed to...?

Lay = Co-ards
Skilling = Puppies
Needless to say, the jury should bury those fuckers.

Figging Now that's an ass raping that stings!
(Feel free to use in future series previews!)

I think that people must engage in Figging to give the Gerbil something to eat.

I tried to tip the waitstaff at lunch today. They were not happy.

This is some fucked up shit that I previously had not known about. At this stage of the game it is fairly uncommon for me to learn of new variations of fucked up shit. Thank you, OWA, for making valuable and regular contributions to my continuing education.

I learn something new here every day. Now if I can only get that image out of my head....

used in a sentence.
I hope Lay is getting figged in prison soon.
-
Outside of a college dorm environment, I'm not sure you can pick this stuff up, as easily one can here, anywhere else.

on a slightly different topic, but still related to prolonged slumps, these clever fellows have unearthed the history of slump busting,
New scientific findings indicate that ancestral humans split from chimpanzee forebears more recently than previously thought and raise the possibility that the two nascent species hybridized before making their final separation. ...
Under the hybridization scenario, the ancestors of humans and chimpanzees split from their common ancestor. After that initial separation, however, members of the two new species interbred an unknown number of times.
