Title: Interesting note
Post by: Nate in IA on May 05, 2006, 01:32:10 am
Seen in a Baseball Today article for tomorrow...

1999 -- Colorado became the first team in 35 years and only the third this century to score in every inning in a 13-6 win over the Chicago Cubs. The last time a team scored in all nine innings was also at Wrigley Field, when St. Louis beat the Cubs on Sept. 13, 1964.

Nice record the baby bears have there...

Yankees did it a few days ago I believe.

Edit: The Link

They didn't bat in the bottom of the 9th, though.

I could have sworn the Royals did this sometime over the past few years...

Good call, but like the Yankees, they didn't bat in the bottom of the 9th either.  Interestingly enough, this game was also Beltran's MLB debut.
