Ouch...

I'm stupid, ok, but I think the 2006 Astros are actually going to turn in a better season (regular season) than the 2005 Astros. It really seams to be a balanced team...

Am I way off my rocker here? Pitching has declined some, but defense and offense seem to possibly better to start the season.

Those rankings are atrocious. Come on now, besides the Astros being totally disregarded (but they have been in every pre-season ranking up to date) but the Pirates ranked 2nd from LAST! I think the Pirates will put together a nice campaign with Bay and adding Randa and Casey also, Duke will play a whole year and Perez is healthy and you can't forget there biggest FA acquistion of all- Brandon Duckworth!

The National League Champions should be better this year.

Add in Koby's dad and the cards can more or less suck my taint.

The TIGERS?!! (top 10, no less), Rangers and Padres are ranked ahead of the Astros? I disagree, circle gets a square.

From 2005 Baseball Prospectus (I believe this is an exact quote): "This isn't a contending team."

They also thought the White Sox were closer to the Royals than the top of the AL Central.

We'll see.  One year, they're bound to be right.
