Title: Gallo (NYCU)
Post by: VirtualBob on January 19, 2006, 03:58:53 pm
Great article Pravata unearthed over at NYCU on 'Rooster'.  Did anyone else notice that he is planning to pitch for Italy in the World Baseball Classic?  What's up with that?

There is no "Rooster" but "The Red Rooster" and Rader is his name

I really don't want to be Captain Obvious here. However, for those that don't speaky ...gallo means rooster in the Spanish.

Also, Mexican roosters don't say Cock-a-doodle-doo they say qui-qui-ri-qui.

And Italian.  Since that's what he is.  Italian, that is, not a rooster.
