My 11 year old asks last night-- Hey mom, why don't the Astros trade Adam Everett, Chris Burke, Chad Qualls and a minor leaguer for Miguel Tejada.
I had nothing to say---I am afraid I may have Tod the Bod II on my hands, except my son's idea makes sense.

It makes perfect sense unless you are baltimore....

Rumor has it that Baltimore would only trade Tejada in a deal that would bring back another big bat. That pretty much rules out Houston as a possible destination.

My point was that my 11 year old is walking around trying to put together possible trades. I guess I just found it very amusing and scary at the same time.

I have to admit I only made it as far a possible TTB II in your post. That is a scary thought.
Last season TTB's brother was in for a very serious operation, and Tod came here for solace, to ask for prayers, etc. Very somber post, then right in the middle of it, he proposes some wack 3-for-1 trade involving I think Bagwell, Ausmus, and I forget who-all else. Priceless. (His brother made it through just fine, IIRC.)
OTOH, your son will also grow up to be a partner in some big New Yawk law firm, and will presumably take care of his mom in her golden years.
Anyway, if your 11-year-old is already putting together blockbuster trades, he very well could grow up to be another Tod, or worse.
Better take him in and have him checked. There is also the possibility he could grow up to be Howard in Memorial, you know...

If the current trends continue, he can be the GM of an MLB team within the next 17 months.
