Title: Is that the best they can do?

A clearly hurting Clemens gives them 3 and they only beat us 5-3? I'm more confident about winning this series after tonight than I was before the game.

I still like our chances, but I don't think that was the best they can do.  Although we blew some chances at the plate; we got some borderline amazing double plays that kept the score a lot closer than it could have been.  From that standpoint everything kind of evened out.

All in all Chicago played a slightly better game today and deserved the win.  Fortunately it takes four wins, not just one.

This logic works both ways.  A Chicago fan might think that the White Sox left the door open for the Astros and the Astros failed to capitalize.  How both teams played aside, the team down 0-1 has to go at least 4-2 to win the series, which of course means the team up 1-0 has to go no worse than 3-3 to win the series.  I doubt the Astros are dispairing of their position, but I bet they would gladly trade with the White Sox tonight.

Yes, but their starting pitcher didn't leave with an injury after 2 innings.  Especially considering this series is supposed to be all about pitching.  I think that was the key point he was making.
