Astros/Braves Game 3 is at 6:40pm Central Saturday.
Thank GOD. We can watch both in peace now.

Ehhhhhhxcellent.

Yeeehaw! Thanks for the word Alkie! ....I'm in a golf tourney in Muenster TX (Fri & Saturday) of all places, and was trying to figure how I was going to watch both of those games. As much as I love UT if I only could catch one of them the Stros would take precedent. I wonder if we get washed out tonight what time they would play tomorrow.?
Hook Em Stros!!!

Saturday will be a most excellent sports day. I just hope my USC-alum sister finds herself bemoaning a loss on Saturday, too

This week just keeps getting better. Of course, by 6:40, I may be completely unable to piece together what's happening on TV due to quadruple-vision.

USC isn't going to lose a game this year.
And won't even face any real competition until the Rose Bowl.
-
Oh, I agree... but I can always hope
Their biggest challenges were probably Oregon and ASU. Thankfully my sis isn't the bragging type.

I thought college baseball didn't start until February.

Booooooooooooooring.

Hudson, poor you--rooting for a school that has no football team.

Good stuff. Now I will only miss (most of) the Texas-OU game due to a wedding I have to attend. Will have the Crackberry handy to keep track. Who schedules a wedding the day of Texas-OU? That's what I get for having friends who are not Longhorns.

They've even won a few games.

I had that happen 3 years ago. The wedding was in Dallas and the groom was a Longhorn grad. Dumbfuck. I was a groomsman and I asked the preacher or minister or whatever the guy was the night before if I could carry a small portable radio and listen to the game with headphones during the ceremony. That did not go over well. I got to see enough of the game (we had a tv in the dressing / waiting room) to know that it was another Longhorn loss. Talk about some pissed off groomsmen and groom.

Well, enjoy the game. The one time Houston gets a prime time weekend game is the one time my girlfriend buys me tickets to U2. I'd gladly trade to get to watch the game.
Trade the tickets, not the girlfriend, that is....

The worst thing is, U2 peaked about 20 years ago.

Actually, the worst thing is I've never given a shit about U2. I've cared about the Astros my whole life.
