Due to circumstances beyond my control I was not able to watch tonights' game. However, at this crucial juncture it is paramount that the game recaps be continued. Therefore, and with out further ado, or typing, not counting this typing and ado, or anything that comes after this, I bring you Alkie's pinch hit game recap

Brad Lidge picked a shitty time to blow his first save since the Carter Administration and the Cubs have ensured that I'll never have an erection again.
After what I had called The Worst Four Minutes of My Life between the Cubs taking their first lead and Berkman's HR, I found a new meaning for pain and suffering as Brad Lidge had probably his worst outing of the year.
Pettitte threw a gem, but honestly Zambrano looked even better.
Mike Lamb hit a HR that stunned even my dog and made it 1-0 Locals.
Cubs tied it up in an inning that I have absolutely no recollection of at this point in the night, and I haven't even had a DROP of alcohol.
Cubs took the lead briefly before Lance hit what would have been the Greatest Cheap Homer (tm) in Astro history, but now it's just a stat-padder.
The Astros have seen 3 baseball games (between the Phils and Astros) to reduce the Magic Number go wayside and now with two games to go, the Stros can't lose again if they want to guarantee a spot in the playoffs.
Rocket tomorrow, Roy Sunday. The "certain" feeling I had this morning is completely gone. Way to make it difficult on yourselves, boys.
So, what? the Astros lose or somethin?
