Roy Oswalt baffled the Royals through 8 innings, allowing 1 run on 7 hits and a walk, to lead the Astros over the Royals Saturday night.
Willy Taveras , who reached base 5 times and scored 3 runs, led off the game with a single, advanced on an error by the leftfielder, was sacrificed to third by Craig Biggio , and scored on a sacrifice fly by Morgan Ensberg to draw first blood.
The Astros increased their lead in the 3rd inning after Taveras reached on a walk, and Biggio drove him home with his 583 career double.
In the seventh, Mike Lamb joined the RBI club with a single that scored Taveras, who had reached on his league leading 13th bunt single of the year.
The Astros capped their scoring in the 8th with a Chris Burke RBI single and a two run error by the Royals secondbaseman.
The Good Guys will attempt the sweep Sunday at 1:10 on FSSW, Brandon Backe vs. Runelvys Hern?ndez.
