MLB owners have a approved a proposal to get rid of 42 MILB teams. (https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/ny-minor-league-luhnow-madden-20191116-73ssnr7ybvdwzdr5vd44vh4e5m-story.html)
The leagues most impacted are as follows: (https://www.nytimes.com/2019/11/16/sports/baseball/mlb-minor-league-proposal.html?action=click&module=RelatedLinks&pgtype=Article)
NY Penn - 9 out of 14 teams
Appy - 9 out of 10 teams (the lone survivor is Pulaski where the Yankee's invested significant $$ recently)
Pioneer - full league of 8 teams
Sally - three teams
Mid West - three teams (Including the River Bandits)
North West - 2 teams out of 8 (lone surviving non complex short season league)
Florida St - two teams
Eastern - two teams
Southern two teams
Carolina - one team
California - one team (Lancaster)
Not saying some changes need to be made but this looks pretty drastic.
