No Yordan. Hinch talked about his struggles yesterday, and Blum has talked about it too. One of the things Hinch mentioned was fouling off hittable pitches. Maybe they are working on his swing path.

Prior to this game Greinke was the only astro in the lineup with a hit against Lyles. Hope Greinke turns it around and gets a few more at bats.

The changeup he threw to Grandal was bad. The one he threw to Thames was pitiful. Whatever the reason, he's simply not hitting spots and not fooling hitters.

I just looked at his game log and he's been quite a bit worse so far as an Astro. This does not fit the generally accepted narrative.

Prior to this game Greinke was the only astro in the lineup with a hit against Lyles. Hope Greinke turns it around and gets a few more at bats.
They've had some good swings against Lyles. Just need to stay patient and string a few together. Gotta chip away now.

It meets the articles I have read. The bats have bailed him out to make him 4-0. He certainly has been worse than I thought he would be. For whatever reason, he has not pitched like an ace.

Yeah, he should have had Grandal struck out on that foul tip. Credit to Grandal for staying alive. Then Braun fisted that ball out into CF. Those were kind of bad luck, but the Thames HR was just a bad pitch.
