Alvarez's signing by the Dodgers came up in another thread.  It may be part of a bigger story:

Did a search some time ago.  Believe several of their million-dollar 2015-16 signees were traded, in addition to Alvarez!.  Others had poor starts.  Some quick searches would reveal where others ended up.

Interesting stuff.

The Dodgers announcement of Jordan's signing also listed the 2015-16 International Signings (https://www.truebluela.com/2016/6/15/11951878/yordan-alvarez-contract-dodgers-cuba-international-signing-period).

Four of the 7 international signees for $1 mil or more were traded, taking $20 mil with them.

Forgot the 100% penalty on the signings.

Four of the 7 international signees for $1 mil or more were traded, taking $20 $40 mil with them.
