The Astros have called up several players from RR over the last few weeks. Alvarez, Stubbs, Straw, Perez, Armenantos and Mayfield are all playing on the big club. Since AAA teams are limited to 25 man rosters, does the Express draw players from Corpus Christi for replacements, or do the have a reserve group to call on, how does that happen?

They draw them up from the lower levels.

They pull from any of the levels depending on the need.

Any idea whether Seth Beer (http://http//www.milb.com/player/index.jsp?sid=milb&player_id=666179#/career/R/hitting/2019/) might be called up to RR? Has he lived up to his #1 pick status?
He has .303/.983 OPS, 13 HR w/ 55 RBI in 63 games, 26 BB/59 K.

I doubt he's moving up real soon, or what I really should say is, I hope he is not moving up for a while as I am going to CC in the future and want to see him in AA before RR.

Highly unlikely. He's actually in a slump right now. I would expect him to be in Corpus for most of the rest of the season.
