It's a compression sleeve.  Not sure what the colors represent.  Maybe the gold for Memorial Day?  Contreras has gold trim on his catcher's gear, so maybe it has something to do with that.

I am sorry mister scorekeeper, that ball to Yuli was NOT a hit. WTF are you thinking?

Should have been hit/error on #1, then straight up error on #2.

It's a compression sleeve.  Not sure what the colors represent.  Maybe the gold for Memorial Day?  Contreras has gold trim on his catcher's gear, so maybe it has something to do with that.

It looked like desert camo to me. What you see our guys wear in the Middle-East.

According to Wikipedia, “platinum sombrero” or “Olympic Rings” are the preferred descriptors for the ignominious distinction. The etymology of the “golden sombrero” is that it was created to describe a feat larger than a hat trick. So, my question is should we coin a term based on a larger or perhaps more elaborate hat instead of simply upgrading the element associated with the larger hat? Of the many obscure topics in which the knowledge here runs deep, hat styles might crack the top 5.

I have probably eight or ten.  I have several Stetson felts, and a Canadian made Biltmore that I love.  I have one fabulous silver belly, custom made from some hatter in Oregon.  It was custom made for someone else, who didn't like it, so I got it for a song...like $200.  I have two Stetson straws, a Dobbs Milan-weave straw, and two Panamas, hand woven in Ecuador (as all Panama hats should be) that have no brand, obviously.  Been wanting an Akubra, just haven't, for whatever reason.  I have an old Stetson straw cowboy hat for wearing around the old place, working on the tractor, etc.
