I experience one in Quebec City my last day and night there. Holyfuckingshit. You have never seen such wind. Not in gusts either; the wind blew for hours without letting up.

Reason #457 that I live in Texas. I don't want to experience cold winds.

Otherwise, how was Quebec? Hope you had some good weather first.

I love Quebec City and have been there before. It was cold and windy all three days but nothing like when the storm hit.

You don't have to shovel heat.

Nor'Easters are not to be trifled with and, even a glancing blow like you received in Quebec can deliver quite a wallop. It's hard to fathom for most but the most powerful nor'easters are up to 4 times as powerful as even the most powerful hurricanes.

You don't have to shovel heat.
The correct expression is "you don't have to shovel sunshine"...but you're becoming a true Southerner. We're proud of you.
