Read this article, especially the comments:
https://www.cleveland.com/tribe/index.ssf/2018/10/if_the_cleveland_indians_dont.html (https://www.cleveland.com/tribe/index.ssf/2018/10/if_the_cleveland_indians_dont.html)
(from article) "The team in the other dugout was the defending World Series champion and they played like it."
(1st two comments:)"48-28 in weak AL central. Losing record vs rest of the league. Think that says it all."
"All of this Kluber talk is pointless. He isn't even going to pitch again the rest of the year so let's move on from Kluber.. "
There is more, just no time to share them..

Unfortunately, internet commenters don’t play the games. There is a lot of baseball left to be played against the Indians.

For sure, how much baseball is left remains to be seen.
I don't get die hard fans looking for the exits so quickly, apparently seeing this playoff appearance as a tease rather than an accomplishment.
Cleveland Indians: Hard to watch this team in the playoffs -- Terry Pluto (https://www.cleveland.com/pluto/index.ssf/2018/10/cleveland_indians_1.html#incart_river_index)
In many ways, it's been sad to watch the Indians as they lost their first two games to the Houston Astros....
....The Indians managed just three hits in each game, striking out 24 times.
This is the same Tribe team that had the fewest strikeouts in the American League this season.....
....They are dealing with the plague of doubt.
....Meanwhile, their opponent oozes confidence.
....There's not a lot of second-guessing to be done when a team is batting .100 (6-for-60 with 24 strikeouts).
Donaldson post game interview (https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafbvideos/josh-donaldson-explains-his-decision-to-field-altuves-ground-ball-down-the-line-in-game-2-of-the-alds/vi-BBO26B0) "....They played pretty much perfect baseball to this point....."
Hard to imagine how hard it must be for the Indians to take the field with surprisingly little support.

Maybe...
Hopefully, there is a lot of October left for Bregman.

I doubt major league ballplayers give much of a shit about this.

I’m pretty sure this thread is an affront to the BBGs. Can we delete it? I don’t care about their fans at all. Good or bad.

Indeed it is. Our pal Snuffy is clueless about the BBGs. This series is far from over.

It is close to the line and, indeed, the series is not anywhere near over.
But I have tried hard to be careful to only use "their" quotes, while making no assumptions that their fears are prophetic. I find them hard to believe. They are in the playoffs for good reason.
No assumptions either as to how many more post seasons AB's Bregman will have.

The Indians were up 2-0 on the Yankees this time last year. Doesn't take a whole lot to turn it around.

@AstrosCounty: (https://twitter.com/AstrosCounty/status/1049326290032050176)Really don't like the karma of playing the Indians on Columbus Day. Folks,

That fact is not lost on the Tribe.

Lindor was asked if he was worried about losing the first game of a series.
"The Yankees were down 0-2 against us," he said. "They came back and beat us. The Cubs were down 1-3 (2016 World Series). They came back and beat us. I know how it feels going up and losing a series.
